Nuttin yet. That is what the last week of S.T. is for. Unexpected longshots the last couple of days. We can BELIEVE the form we are seeing now. Big Fav bettors will catch on about the time of the All-Star break. Some of these teams are not going to melt with the snow, and some are never going to hit their stride as projected over the winter. Gotta love baseball.

The 2 teams who are expected to be awesome in the NL, I think will be. And that's the Dodgers and Padres.
The NL East is going to beat the crap out of each other, I don't see a clear cut fav. Hint, I favor pitching. One team in that division has a plethora of arms. Hint, I'm a Pisces. I dig the Nats. Their starters are old but that's a hell of a 1 through 5. Health is paramount. I find the Braves the least interesting and hard to cap, everyone has "that" team.
I'm no where near crowning the Cardinals the NL Central champs. How long is Mikolas out for? How much longer can Wainwright defy the laws of aging? I need to call my ex man crush Jack Flaherty and have a heart to heart, something is up with him. Carlos Martinez won't have the luxury of facing the Mets every time he pitches. Seriously, how the hek isn't Matt Carpenter not in AA? Yup, he couldn't even cut it in AAA. I like Nolan Arenado, I won't question his athleticism or his love of the game. The man plays killer defense. But as I said a while ago on this thread, #'s at Coors in one hand, #'s "away" in the other hand.
The Brewers and Cubs will contend.
The Reds are a tricky bunch. Lots of talent but so up n down. They aren't an easy out.
The Pirates have a great pipeline brewing. 3 years from now we'll be talking about em. I see lot's of good signs for them. But that's down the road. They'll be better than the Orioles, Mariners, Rockies and Rangers this year.
Anyone want to tackle the AL?

No, but I will counter culture you and play Devil's Advocate on N.L. Central. Reds will suck just as bad as they look in S.T. They are not going to ride a couple arms past the weakness and age of their offense. Gray and Castillo will be on the market long before the break or trade deadline. Pirates overcome them and the Cardinals limp like wounded ducks into third. Cubs have enough for a solid second and (drum roll please!) the Brewers eat this division up like steak on a Saturday night.
Post an opinion on each division sac and I will play Devil's Advocate. I think the guys might enjoy that. Agree, disagree, whatever; just don't tell us what bandwagon you are on with no handicapping or reasoning.

@KeyElement
I definitely have the Reds in the "sellers" category. Hard to see them buying closer to trade deadline. There were talks of moving Sonny all ready, well before spring training.
Well, to elaborate more on the NL West, I actually think the Giants won't be that bad. Just don't tell Jeg.

Oh! Heavens no. If they have a decent April they will be MY Giants.

"On any given day" my friend. They all go from goat to hero and back to goat as fast as you can back to your seat with a fresh $10 beer. Some times it looks like we ought to bet whatever starter and/or team just had their worst possible outing. Nothing breeds success like contempt (for one's own failures). Think I will copyright that, it's pretty good.

I don't disagree but am worried about the Jays not having a true home field all year long

William Hill doesn’t offer first 5 for ST. Sometimes when it’s a live game it comes up.
BOL!
Looking at Rays Braves game right now. It can go either way. What Wacha for 5 or so innings will we see... and will Smyly pitch around the righties. I’m going to lay the 130 and take Atlanta.

Futures:
I have SD win:DIV, WEST and WS for varying amts.
LAD RSW UN 94.5
Overall I'm "counting on" LAD having some injuries (I'm talkin' 'bout you Kershaw), slump and struggles so better value for me in LAD UN than in SD Over.
I like MIA OV RSW
Maybe a PIT Over
Like Key I don't really like the overs for RSW on normal, well performing teams.
Every year there's a PIT, MIL, CIN, SD or other mediocre team that after about 2-3 weeks into the season they go on a lucky tear hitting a 65% clip as nice dogs, for about two weeks only to stumble back to mediocrity. At no point is anyone fooled, and rightfully so, but the odds for that team stay nice and the payout is sweet while it lasts.
Last year I called SD 5 games into the shortened season but they stayed hot, a nice surprise.
This year (although too early to tell) I'm keeping a close eye on PIT and maybe MIA(too many may already have them on the radar) to be that team that goes on an early tear only to slip back to mediocrity.
