HI....Gonna put this up on Friday night (going out early Saturday morning)....will bump it tomorrow and hope that everyone contributes as usual.....Today: 4-1-1
These are the games for Saturday that I find interesting:
OAK/NYY: I think that JD's second trip to Yankee Stadium (the All Star game was his first) will turn out much different...He's already seen Monument Park, pitched in "The House That Ruth Built" (and got hit around a little)....we are getting a huge price on him, facing Joba the Hut, being the visiting team...and for whatever other reasons....gonna take the dog here
CLE/SEA: Cashed my bet today with the King at home and don't see any reason not to back the home team again....Sowers going South, CLE looking to next year, Washburn pitching well...SEA
MIL/SF: Yes, Sheets has been a little off lately and Sanchez has been pitching well....BUT, after the break we really have to look at the WHOLE team + the SP....Sheets, even as the visiting SP, should be well over -150, we don't get that, so we get value on MIL.....cashed a bet on them today, should cash tomorrow also.
CHC/HOU: Zambrano pitching well, Wandy in a rut, CHC is a powerhouse this year, HOU going thru the motions....visiting team gives us HUGE value....no brainer here....Go Cubbies...
PS>>>Did I ever tell you the story of why I hate Big Lou...Met him at the Meadowlands racetrack clubhouse one night (when he was playing for the Yankees), introduced by mutual friends, bought a round of drinks...he was as rude and obnoxious as you could find...you would think that I had told him his wife was cheating on him with Yogi in Montclair, New Jersey....he's just a bad guy. But, this year, he has the team that could go all the way....If he doesn't destroy the bullpen!!!!
That's it for Saturday....I do have lots of thoughts on some of the other games...Hopefully, we can talk early.....
