Fun day (and great thread) yesterday....2-1 on picks and 6-1 on plays....and Detroit84, don't worry, my boy Backdoor was just caring for the thread...your contributions yesterday were outstanding and I hope that you're back today with more....
These are the games that I find interesting for Saturday:
TEX/OAK: There is a lot of juice on the board today, 3 games..so far...over -200. This one, at least, is under by a little and gives us a chance at a runline play. JD is one of the top 5 SP's in the majors this year and Matt Harrison does not look like he is ready for the bigs yet. OAK has not been hitting LHP much lately; but they should only need a couple to get us a win. It still may be out of the range; but if the price is decent, it's worth the play.
LAA/BAL: Looks like a replay of yesterday; except Liz is worse than Burres....Garland and Saunders are kinda even. Once again, we get a decent price cause we have the visitors..a value bet.
ARI/SF: This looks too good to be true....Last out I faded Lincecum against Parra and now we get him facing Brandon Webb who is back in strong form. Vegas sends out one of those 6.5 totals daring you to take the over....it just means to me that we are looking at a 4-0, 5-1 kind of game....ARI is just huge value today in this spot.
That's it for today.....and I'm still not certain about the value on OAK runline today..that might be too high. There are a lot of games that I would just, flat out, avoid....too many questions and "red flags"....let's talk
