6-0 yesterday included 3 runline wins...helped a lot....on to Thursday. These are the games that I find interesting today:

The only game that I can make a case for dominance is the Yankee's Pettite over the Angel's Garland....BUT, LAA is just so strong now and the Yankees were lucky to get out of the BAL series with a win....the juice is just too high to play this game.
 
I'm sure that we'll have some posters come in with thoughts and anlysis/stats on the other games....maybe we can find a common ground to play a game or two on today's shortened slate....

I agree with that statement, Vegas books continue to inflate the AL East lines against 36-19 road record of Angels. I don'tI think it's a very good idea to buck the trend and bet againt that record with hefty -170 price, just ask Red Sox backers for that series against Angels.

Great picks yesterday. I have been following these threads for several weeks now and really enjoy your insite and the money i have made off it.

For today the only side that jumps out at me is Minny. Minny has a .300 batting average agaist Danks. Danks has a 7.13 era over his last 3 vs Bakers 3.60. The CWS B.A. against Baker is .214. Good enough for me to take a look at low juice.

Also leaning on Philly. Howard, Utley and Rollins hit Lannen hard in there only meeting last year.

any thoughts are welcome.

Thx for the props...but, I'm like the bandleader....the real credit goes to the "guys in the band"...like yourself, Backdoor, Ping, LLTB, etc etc etc.....You're the ones "making the music"....if it wasn't for all the people that come into this thread with great analysis, stats..and, most importantly, a real desire to help all of us make more money...then, this thread would be nothing...

I would normally play this game...but there is doubt in my mind that you will see another bad performance from Danks....when a pitcher starts to have control problems and gives up runs, you usually see lots of walks and hits and not many strikeouts...that hasn't been the case with him. 16 K's, 2 walks in his last 3 starts which were not good....
 
I still might play MIN....I think that prior matchups are not as important as current form...and, if PingPong was around he might also go with Danks (don't know that for certain obviously)...he likes to cap games looking for a pitcher to change rather than the way I do it, which is to look for continuation of decline or success..

How about Detroit 5 innings?  price is steep, so maybe the RL.

MROPC....ok, I took my bow and patted myself on the back...

I am leaning towards Minn...but other game that caught my attention is COL/FLA......Fla really struggling against LHP and
COL killing RHP....De LaRosa has been consistent in his last
two outings (1 on road and 1 at home)....What puzzles me is
FLA's pitcher Sanchez....he has been out for 2 months and
comes in at -120.....What is your take on this game.

florida 1st 5 ....I have been on colorodo..but theu are on the road, did fla pick up someone in trade for the run ? look at the pitching stats.

I also have to add that i really like LAA plus juice (+105), plus .5 on the run line. I mean come on................it has to be the best value bet on the board tonight. Anytime i can get the best team in baseball like this i have to put at least a half unit on it! No????

Marlins: For the first time since May 2, 2007, Sanchez will be making a big league start. Last June, the 24-year-old underwent right shoulder surgery, and he has worked his way back ever since. He made five rehab assignment starts, including two for Double-A Carolina. In his last outing, the Venezuelan native worked seven innings. In five Minor League starts, he has thrown 28 innings. The highlight of Sanchez's career was his no-hitter against Arizona on Sept. 6, 2006.

He's been out for over a year.....COL is not a bad dog play considering their offensive strength; but I almost always sit out one of these "who knows what the pitcher will do" games....

Juice:  Garland is letting the opponents score on him; I don't want to rely on LAA's bats against the Yankees most competitive pitcher....I can't argue with a small dog play, but I just think that the first game of a series like this is better off being watched....wish you luck, of course.

CHW are a career .242 hitting team vs Baker. Dye is only 1 for 9 for a .111 ave against him. Pierzynski is a .333 hitter, Swisher and Konerko both are at .286 lifetime vs. Baker. Twins have a team .320 average vs. Danks....all this and this umpire trend, Welke behind the dish last 14 games 12 times the home team wins.

OK well today is a tough day.  I got to do some more research on todays games as i feel like im close to something but not sure if im there yet.  So far for today:
 
Arizona F5 ML
2TP Tex F5 ML/ STL F5 ML
 
the 2TP is ???? but i like them both for some reason.  If anyone knows me they know I love Webb and if i get him for low juice i take it in a second.  Lowe has an up and down stretch going.  If that stretch continues he is on the down which is good for me!!!  Be back if i find more.

backdoor, like TEX as well for the 1st 5, even though Young and Bradley are out - but the Texas offense did look a bit anemic yesterday....

backdoor has it right about Lowe,1 good 1 bad start,hes set the cycle so Ari.looks to be a play here.
Also took LAA because Im up,lol,price was too good.
Lannen I love,so Wash.F-5 at even money.
Know the first 2 started but got a late start dealing with doctors all day,but you guys have your plays anyway,GL
