....and on we go. As we saw yesterday, this is the part of the season that can present the most challenges (and make you the most money)....These are the games that I have an interest in for Tuesday........
COL/PIT: Rusch has had 3 decent starts, to include handling PIT fairly well in Colorado. Herrera can't pitch very well. PIT also having some difficulty with LHP recently....COL does not have difficulty with any pitching....we get a decent priced fave cause they're the visiting team and I see that as value for today's game.
NYM/FLA: Since we don't care about bullpens, the Mets should get another 5-inning win today like yesterday. Perez is a new pitcher now that Rick Peterson is gone, and FLA has some difficulty vs LHP. Olsen is pretty inconsistent and when he faces a team that can hit...recently COL & CHC...he gets creamed. We get another short-priced fave cause we're taking the visitors.
CIN/HOU: Arroyo has had one bad outing in July (out of 4 starts), Moehler has had one good outing in July (out of 4 starts), Arroyo has been weaker on the road, but I think that yesterday was Houston's win with Oswalt coming off the DL and today they go back to being Houston....gonna take the visitor again....
KC/OAK: Two Louisiana pitchers...One with two solid starts recently, the other with two weak starts recently. KC likes LHP and is playing decent ball lately. Another spot where we get value cause we like the visiting team...taking KC
That's it for Tuesday....I do have a bunch of thoughts on some other games....SF/LAD, for one.....so if anyone is interested in the others, I'd be happy to chime in......let's roll......
