Roberts made the right move last nite in pitching Wood and now Kershaw takes the mound. Wasn't that the plan?! I have said that no one player will cause me to take a specific side but with a legacy on the line and this series being tied, I think Kershaw pitches a gem. Ground breaking I know. In my pick tonite though....I like the Dodgers bats to continue hitting and I like that bullpen as well. I feel these two pitchers tonite may cancel themselves out much like last nite but Im not only picking this game tonite, IF my pick wins here tonite, I will even pick the winner tomorrow for you here. I like the Dodgers tonite but I like Verlander and the Astros on the road to force a game 7. How fitting from there would it be if Darvish were the one to end this series for the Astros with some payback. Let's take tonite though first; I don't want to get ahead of myself just yet even though I think I have!

A true gift from LA to Houston tonite. It will be Houston's turn tomorrow.....I'm not sure what I just watched tonite though? Was that baseball? Hopefully going forward we can just play baseball rather than have pitchers serve up home runs. Until next game....nite all.
75-52 overall and 22-10 in the playoffs.

I meant Tuesday. No game today. Come Tuesday, Houston will be on the other end of the nonsense....as Puig put and I fully agree, there WILL be a game 7. If Kershaw can groove balls for Houston, no reason "The Verlander" can't either.

Achilles? You are a very astute Handicapper I must say and NO way in hell are you, me or any Dodger backer going to take that showing last night as an indication that we took the wrong side? We had the right team with an outcome that appeared surreal. I Just really Wonder what your going to conjure up for an analysis tomorrow as things have definitely gotten interesting Amigo.

Regardless of whether I won or lost last nite, what I witnessed last nite was a joke. No longer is baseball the only game out there untouched with the antics of the puppeteers pulling the strings; it's now become just like the NFL and NBA. A joke. 25 runs in a pivotal game 5 of the World Series? I mean is the game hurting that much to where we have to we football scores? Watching GREAT pitchers look mediocre was simply sad. The two best pitchers in the game looked lost but imo it was all part of the plan. I do understand Houston has been through a lot and I understand giving those fans something to cheer about is important but seeing Kershaw just groove balls over the plate and Jansen all of the sudden look like Giles....I'm not buying that crap. Sorry. And seeing Gurriel in last nite? I'd be pissed if I were LA. He had a huge imprint on that game and shouldn't have. I'm a huge believer that big bet have and will continue to be f@xed and this isn't a rant that the game was f@xed because I lost. Believe me....I've won MANY games being on the right side. Case and point: I won the first half SNF bet I hit. Bell fumbling as they drive down the field up 1 with an a$$load of money in Pittsburgh? Thank you very much Bell! Back to the series: Houston at some point will have to pay the piper and they very well could win this series but last nite....with all the antics as Gurriel? Tomorrow will be LA's turn. I have yet to be absolutely surirused in this year's playoffs but I would be if LA didn't force a game 7. I still go back to the racist pig Gurriel having a big imprint on last nites game. MLB screwed up bad there and with so many thinking LA is done tomorrow with Verlander getting th ball, I will gladly force MLB's hand and take the Dodgers. At the very least, after the bs I saw last nite, this series deserves a game 7 and deserves to see Darvish going with Kershaw closing the game out. My opinions though. We get it back tomorrow nite amigo.

It will be the biggest bet of the playoffs amigo. NFL, NBA and Now unfortunately MLB....it's all about the money and ratings. Saw the seed planted in last year's workd series and made a ton letting that baby bloom. This year, time to get it again! Gotta be able to sift through the bs. After last nite, let's see what the "dealer" is holding in their hands.

Dodgers win tomorrow. As long as Verlander is pitching I will be fading him and his "sparkling" record since joining the Astros. Nobody is untouchable as evident last nite and with the books foaming at the mouths knowing they will get the majority on the Astros, I will be on the other side. No need to pay attention to the line movement or listen to the media bs. I firmly believe the Dodgers are the more complete team. Turner and Seager will ball tomorrow.

I will stick purely to baseball rather than ruffle the feathers of the purists who believe sports are.....well.....100% pure. Game 5 on Sunday was laughable on so many levels. It wasn't baseball; it was a joke. No longer is baseball by itself when it comes to keeping things real but I understand because that's what the public wants. Gotta do what the NBA and the NFL do. If not, ratings are garbage.
So tonite, Verlander gets the ball; 9-0 virtually unstoppable as of late with a chance to close out the series. Well, call me crazy but if Kershaw can lose a game up 4-0 and Jansen can look like he's a part of the Cubs pen, why can't Verlander get touched up tonite? The hurricane in Houston changed a lot for me because before that happened and before the season started, I leaned Dodgers to win it all. Not 100% sure that happens but tonite, they extend the series. They prove the media wrong, the prove the public wrong and their big stars come through. For me, this series is a gold mine for the league and the books. Dodgers win, books and Vegas win tonite and then it sets up for a lot of drama on the field and in between the lines with the Gurriel/Darvish situation. Houston won 2 of 3 in front of their home crowd and I'm glad because the fans deserved it but tonite it's time for the BEST TEAM in baseball to prove it. I will never use the word l@ck but for me, I feel pretty strong about this luck tonite. I've had a great run in the playoffs so I will make this my biggest bet of the post season. Tomorrow.....I will have a write up for game 7 which I feel will be a dandy.

Nothing is ever for sure....With Kershaw getting knocked out early, not sure why people thought Verlander was untouchable. Once again, this game will come down to the pens. Let me see what happens.....

On to game 7 as expected. Dodgers baby! The almighty Verlander fallls. No surprise though as I stated above that this game was as close to a l@ck for me as a game could get. I gotta tell ya, I can't wait to hear what this forum has in store for us tomorrow. I just wonder though for Dave Roberts, will he get any credit for the way he managed his bullpen and pitching staff tonite? Probably not. Game 7....here we come!

I love your angles and opinion on sports in general. But i have a few questions for you about the potential of fixing. I am very confident that human greed has been intertwined with sports for some time. I have heard numerous stories from former players, as well as have seen my share of sketchy happenings. It pays to be aware of this, as you can profit from being on the right side. I've also seen some shady posters here who are definitely here to sway (much like online forums for stocks). BUT, i have a very hard time believing that the players are involved. A guy like Kershaw is not going to lose on purpose. Even last night, Verlander was throwing away juiced balls the entire game. If he was trying to lose he would have been tossing those balls to help the dodgers. I think the Managers and Umpires (coaches and refs in the other sports as well) are the ones in on it. Too many loose ends if the players are involved too. That's my 2 cents.
