Yankees are coming off a bad loss vs the Red Sox where they left 11 on
base and struck out 3 consecutive times with the bases loaded. A.J.
Burnett was scheduled to start last Sunday but was scratched due to back
spasms. He pitches tonight in what is a tough spot for the Yankees.
Playing Boston takes a lot out of NY, they are 0-3 in their first game after a series with Boston. Burnett has been a pitcher ive bet against pretty much the whole season, if he cannot command
his curve ball he is all but useless and will get rattled easily. Case
in point, his last start vs the Blue Jays he got knocked up for 7 runs
in one inning.
C.J. Wilson is having a good year at 10-5 with a 3.30 ERA, and he is
2-0, 3.78 ERA in his last 3. TEX had the luxury of a day off yesterday
whereas NY played then traveled. NYs bullpen is used up and with
Burnett likely to get hit early and often, I absolutely love Texas in
tonight's game!

I would have to think so...

Love that Texas lineup, but I think we might see a bit of a slide from Wilson for the rest of the year with all the innings he's logged. This is his first full season as a starter and I think it may start to cause some problems down the stretch. I'm on NY tonight, I think we get some good value with this line considering Wilson's last start. I think Teixeira out is a non-factor.
Yanks are 3-0 vs TEX this season. Burnett won his start against them going 7 scoreless innings and has posted solid career #s vs TEX. He has been very inconsistent but the history vs this team doesn't lie. Best of luck though! Maybe Wilson will bounce back nicely.

jhevey, you like the Rangers but not sold on their starting pitcher. Sounds like a nice Ranger TT over is in order. Takes their pitcher out of the equation....just a thought.

Orangemen44 Its been 50-50 on the Yanks Rangers. Half people have said the Yankees will have a hangover other half have said that is BS. Don't let your New York bias affect your betting. Take a deep breath and look at the forums again.
As far as the game goes... Rangers should be a motivated team wanting to prove that are up their with the elites of the AL ideally the Yankees. While, Texas does have a 8 game lead seems to me from what I have read that they have a chip on their shoulder and a we haven't earned anything yet type approach. Let's also remember that this is the first home game since the Rangers future ownership has been resolved. Ole Nolan isn't going to his first game as Rangers owner to lose to the Yankees. However, I will say the fact that the Yankees are undermanned worries me. BOL
