I well what do you know another day another bullpen meltdown. First McGee loads the bases for mets on literally 7 pitches but mets couldn't score with bases loaded then familia comes in and gives up 2 runs to blow the save. After degrom pitched a shutout and Rockies starter was really solid too

Well we have another BULLshyt pen sighting. Next up we have chased roe of the orioles. Comes in a 3-2 ame bottom of 7 and what does he do? You guessed it comes in and gives up a single and a triple and gives up 3 runs in 7 pitches. Wasn't completely his fault but still pathetic nonetheless given that gas can ubaldo did much better than that for 7 innings pitched

I'm not on the Jays but...C'mon Grilli. How long have you been in the league and why do these clubs keep paying this dude. Jays up by 1, still gotta be nerve wracking.

TreyInventor, you mentioned Chapman as not being on the list- after today- NOT ANYMORE

How about Ziegler the other night taking over Price's shutout and immediately gives up 3 hits to 4 batters before Goldilocks throws it farther over Leons head then he is away from home plate.

Then last night Jennings and Kahne tag teamed for the White Sox starting a clean inning and between them throwing 16 balls on 19 pitches walking the bases full and the Twins winning the game without a hit, and the only ball to hit a bat in the inning was a bunt.

I wrote in somebody's Thread, that if God had gifted me with an arm to be a good starting Pitcher, that same arm would have me in jail for either Assault or Murder for beating the SH!T out of- or killing- the Reliever I handed my great game over to that blew it

Lol sac beat me to the punch. I went to the archives as soon as Cisek came in the bottom of the 9th up 6-3 vs Cubs and gives up 3 runs. A wild pitch to tie it at 6-6. 3 run leads in the MLB = NBA team up by 3 points.

I think MLB pitching talent is not good anymore. 

I don't think the game changed like in NFL to favor the offense. It's just bad pitching. You have many borderline pitchers trying to imitate major league players & with so many meaningless games being played in baseball, managers have to do exactly that, manage. 

They manage, not coach, to get through each games trying to scrape up a win with all their unqualified wannabes in bullpen.. Few that are somewhat acceptable do become closers trying to save games but those that aren't, become middle relievers. Really pathetic state of the game, if you ask me.

And those that become closers have many to question whether they have the fortitude or pure arm talent to become a bona fide closer.  
In the old days, 3 run 9th inning lead was good as a win. Now, you gotta pray & wish that your bum closer doesn't have a melt down.
