We have about a month left and some really tight races. Here's my guess as to how things finish up.
The NY teams have definitely faded, especially the Yankees. I see them holding on to win the AL East. The remaining teams will all be serious wildcard contenders, except for BOS. I would love to see the O's make the postseason, but I just don't see it happening. I think TB gets a WC spot. I also see the Mets holding on for the NL East and beating my Braves a couple of key times down the stretch. Braves definitely make playoffs, and I think PHI gets a wildcard spot as well.
The AL Central is a crapshoot, but I have zero confidence in LaRussa and the CWS. My pick is for MIN to win it and for the INDIANS to make the wildcard. In the NL Central, STL takes it and I think MIL loses out on a wildcard spot.
The AL West title is going to HOU, and I think the M's make the WC. The NL West has been decided and I like SD to take a wildcard spot.
Anyone else see things differently?
