I don't know what it is about day games but the A's are 1-10 there. Apparently the sun has a pretty big effect on them.
Not enough time to recover from the hangover of the downtown Oakland nightlfe

don't see it. Gray near untouchable at home this year and only 6 red sox batters have seen him and hold a .126 avg against. Whats your angle here. Gut and experience says both home teams win the early game
but as you saw with padres/yanks today I have been wrong many times before

In this thread I gave you the form of the pitcher, the context of where he is pitching, his numbers vs opposing team, both avg and rank of both lineups
Show me a link to someone on this forum that does anything as in depth as I do. look at the fist 20 threads on here...nothing but a team name with a number next to it and you have the audacity to say I am stupid to go off of avg's against opposing pitchers only?
I wonder what you think of everyone else on here who just lists a team name and a number and hopes and prays it comes in

That's who Im seeing too. Anything more you can tell us about a reason why?
I think Oakland had too many bad results recently, and I see them winning two in a row. Boston is playing hot/cold, can't trust them at the moment. Gray should dominate. For me easy Oakland win.
Also, I don't like this Gio Gonzalez guy, and gut feeling tells me play D'backs.

Hellickson has pitched 4 2/3 innings in two of his last three starts, allowing 12 earned runs in that span. He was charged with five runs on eight hits against the Padres in his last outing.
Your betting Hellickson is all of a sudden going to turn that around?
Bad bad play

If you have figured out a formula that dictates when pitchers in this league go on extended good or bad outings please share your picks on a regular basis..

Didn't touch that game. Glad you hit but had nothing to do with gray. The bats didn't "get to gray" He pitched an absolute gem too like I thought he would and I even mentioned the under was a good play. The A's offense was the problem. Had way more men on base and almost same amount of hits but just couldn't get that one clutch hit to win the game.
