I have got to be the unluckiest person in the world.  I am on a serious cold streak.  3-28 now  .  I have tried sitting back a couple days and just refocusing. I tried taking some games that had serious juice, but should have easily won.  Something freaky would happen in the ninth to mess it up.  I know they say the laws of averages work themselves out.  I'm way overdue, but still don't feel confident in any game I'm picking...lol.  So just fade away and you will be good today folks.

So...here are my picks for today.  If you just simply bet opposite of me, you will surely win and make money and I will continue to freeze to death in this degenerate world of gambling:

Well...there you have it.  A small favorite and 3 dogs.  Sounds like disaster waiting to happen for sure.

From a fellow Ohioan I like the DBacks. Not crazy about others.

 The Reds can't seem to score and Homer Bailey is called HOMER for a reason. I like the Yankees and Tampa Bay over and I would never lay the Cubs as that big of a dog.

mforwerc, could you possibly explain what information you are using to make your picks. The reason that I ask is that I think that we might be able to learn something from your unfortunate run. Also, is this run strictly MLB games and are they all ML's or do you pick O/U's and Run Lines?

LOL MM...I know!!  All I can say is I'm feeling a good strong turnaround coming up.  

DofD: This is strictly MLB.  I actually had a great year in NCAAB and Hockey playoffs have been good so far.  I know it is still early, but this kind of a cold streak is a rarity in itself!  

Looking over some stuff right now, but will have picks up in a little bit for you all to fade!!  Have a good one.

Patriots Day Game  TB/Boston:

I'm taking Tampa Bay in this one.  I know Shields is 1-9 with a 6.75 ERA in his 10 starts at Fenway, but I don't care.  Boston is putting Daniel Bard on the hill for just his 2nd career start.  He didn't fare too well against Toronto in his 1st start.  I don't look for much better in this game.  Big Papi is on a terror, but I think the Ellsbury injury finally starts to sting the Sox a bit.

Very well pitched game by both starters.  Horrible last at bat with Ross getting called out looking on what appeared to be 5 straight balls with 3 of them called strikes.  Tampa Bay squeaks out a W however.  Record now standing at 5-35.  I'll take them anyway I can get em.

Mfor.. five straight balls your nuts...after that ump calls the strike one and two on the outside corner you have to protect that part of the plate..strike 3 was obviously a strike and once again if he called the first two strikes and those pitches weren't as good as strike 3 then shame on cody ross leaving the bat on his shoulders...umps will always favor pitching in that spot

I said it appeared they were 5 balls thrown!!  The broadcast showed the pitch zone with all 5 outside the zone..therefore...BALLS!  I'll agree completely...Cody Ross has to adjust a bit after the first couple calls...but the ump did call 2 other SIMILAR pitches balls....so who knows what he's gonna call that last one?  It was probably the worst of the 5.  Either way...TB wins the game.  Good luck with your bets today.

rodney threw the 3 strikes. great looking strikes catching the left side of the plate. all 5 pitches were the same as the 2 balls were just a little to outside
