This system needs time to set itself for the stats, otherwise I would have to use last years stats to start the season...which if you look at my historical record..was not a good idea one year:-)
 
The oddmakers and the public have now formulated an opinion of each team....which this system can exploit if used properly....

 

Im gettinbg FLA and OAK today too,,   but i also had FLA yesterday,, that sucked,, lol   luckily my subjective side cut it by a 1/3rd

i read your explanation from the original thread and love it.  I've always thought that with the super-long reg. season in baseball that there are opportunities to capitalize on regressions to the mean.  
 
I am going to tail you this season.  I do this for fun, not a living, so here's to a lot of fun.

Why not post the lines you are locking these in at?


If you are actually betting these then why post with lines you didn't bet these at?

Looks like a "fade pitchers with an ERA less than 2.50 playing against pitchers with an ERA more than 5.00" system.

brenden, he's doing it so no one can bitch at him... i.e. gamehunters thread in PB, people yelling at him for getting a better line than them, etc.  this way all can see and all is equal, i respect it actually.  If blue gets a better line than wagerline good for him.  unlike most posters here, he is assuming the worst by taking that line, most only post the best lines.

Is fading the best pitchers in the game a good thing?  In some situations yes.  Not sure about Seattle though since we are looking at Saunders at home.

In certain spots, absolutely,,,  how many times did WAS bring down an ace last year,,   what about yesterday, people gave padilla and texas no chance ...  its about picking your spots, and all you have to be right usually is 30-40% of the time and youre doing ok

Today we see the return of Robert Allen Dickey, a guy who's been away from the bigs for two years...think Jose Lima, Dewon Brazelton...only this guy's stuff is even worse than those guys.
 
My only question: can he go over 5 innings and will he top that 6 run jimmy jack tonight? This should be very interesting...

I grade my plays on the final line on Wagerline so that everyone will know where the numbers come from..I could post that I recieved them at $20 or $30 better from whereever the hell I get my action from...and that seems a bit misleading....Wagerline is a public forum and everyone can have access to the same information....and take a look at the accuracy of what I am doing here...no imaginary numbers if you will...
 
Also, I am not fading any certain pitchers..it is just the way the numbers worked out.....

Well that Florida game pissed me off.  I am on Florida and Oakland but not touching that Seattle game.

I hope you get a split at least on those two games.

At least bases is a marathon, not a sprint...
 
I don't have a doubt in my mind you'll reach 60 units.
 
But most cappers are already up 30 Units within a month..
