Bodio, thanks for the input...I am also on Phil and Atl, still looking at Cincy (dont like Arroyos back issue or FIB but agree Karoda may be hurt)....I am also on The Fins, jumed early...Nolasco's FIB looks solid, last start is hopefully an abberation, FINS at home, Brew Crew awful on the road, and Wolf due  for some regression, what do you see or didnt see on that one???....

Also, eyeing to totals and both are overs (I usually gravitate towards unders)..Bos/Oak and Bal/Tor, but wanna see umpires, where do u find umps for the first game of the series??

Finally, MDizzle, I dont get how people see the "public percentage" on covers homepage or some other site and take that as the fact, come on man...

    Are you kidding me?

The Phillies, Reds, Yankees, and Braves are the 4 biggest PUBLIC teams in MLB...and the Royals are playing the fuckin Minnesota Twins...

I'm just sayin, Bodio (and the PUBLIC) was alll over Phillies when Halladay was pitchin vs. the Nationals...public was 74% on Phillies in that game and Nats won 2-1

Most his plays seem to be public teams or Chicago White Sox...just sayin

Sorry.  I don't handicap baseball based on ROM and/or public/sharp plays.  I only do that for NHL and WNBA

I agree about Wolf but 7 hits in his last 14 innings pitched is pretty impressive.  I also didn't like Nolasco's history against the Brewers.  Milwaukee is playing really well right now and Florida is 2-4 last 6.  Easy pass for me

I'm just sayin, Bodio (and the PUBLIC) was alll over Phillies when Halladay was pitchin vs. the Nationals...public was 74% on Phillies in that game and Nats won 2-1

Most his plays seem to be public teams or Chicago White Sox...just sayin

slight correction brutha:  I was on Oswalt and Phills when they lost 2-1 to Nats.  Doc pitched 2 games prior to that (he won I believe).

Public or not-public plays, it really doesn't matter as long as the sign in front of the Units won is the 'right' one at the end of the season.

I don't usually look at betting stats prior to making my plays/decisions.  I handicap each game on its own, and if it's a public team, so be it.  Doesn't bother me at all, especially in MLB.

Out of curiosity, do you just strictly 'fade' all public teams when you play bases?  How's that working?  thanks..

Lowe is coming off an 84 pitch outing so he should be well-rested for this one.  Plus, he is in a 'bounce-back' spot.  He's been excellent against the Mets in his last 3 starts with 5 ER"s in 18 innings pitched with 9K to 3 BB ratio.  Niese is coming off a 122 pitch outing, most in his career.  Look up his last couple of starts following games where he threw 115+ pitches.  Not very good.  Either way, all key 'advanced-stats' favor Lowe here, so he's clearly the better pitcher.  Now the 2nd huge advantage of the Braves is their BP, which is the BEST in the league, while Mets' are mediocre.  Throw in the fact that Mets' pen has really been used a lot the last couple of games, especially yesterday, and we have a situation where the starter is coming off a huge-pitch outing with a tired BP behind him.  Sure, the Braves aren't hitting the ball well and are missing some 'bats' (so are the Mets), but the 'factors' above clearly are to their advantage. I expect ATL  to win this one with superior pitching and just 'enough' hitting today.

thanks for coming back and finishing the write-ups!!! lets cash these bitches!!!

bodio, an off topic question please...

what do u think of ozzie guillen as a manager.  personally i think hes great for the chisox and baseball.  i remember when he first got hired to replace the laid back jerry manuel.  and right away he proclaims this is his team (as opposed to the selfish, frank thomas')  and the following year?  they win it all sweeping the disastros.  a little while ago, ozzie addresses his critics saying they the fans easily forget that world series and piss on the memorial.  i just love his passion and political and people skills... but im a fan of money first

I feel that Arroyo will have a good game today so the question is will Cincy bats score enough runs for the OVER to hit?  Not so sure.  Make sure to check the wind and the temperature if you're going to play this one

    Thanks B
