Could you break down the philly game. I really like philly in this spot. Seems that Pitt struggles against good pitchers. Want your thought before I unload. Thanks!

curious about your thoughts on the Reds and Yanks plays today Bo
Sure...
Reds:
First thing is that Arroyo is rested for this one. His back might have given him trouble in his last couple of outings but throwing a combined 134 pitches in his last 2 outings should have him ready to throw well tonight. He gave up 3 ER"s in 14 innings against LA last year and I expect him to be successful again tonight. Kuroda has a great record against cincy, 3-0 in his career but something is just not right with him. In his last 2 starts, 10 innings, he gave up 19 hits, 2 HR's, 9 ER's with a 5K to 3 BB ratio. Against a potent lineup like the Reds that will spell disaster today. Reds are a much better hitting team than the Dodgers, they're a much better fielding team, and BP are about even. Playing at home, I will gladly grab Cincy at this short price today.
Yankees:
We all know that Weaver is a better pitcher than Nova, but Ivan the 'Not so Great' has a couple of factors working in his favor. #1: He's is coming off an outing where he threw 74 pitches so he should be fresh #2: He has never faced LAA before #3: Angels have half of their hitters on DL and are one of the weaker hitting teams in the majors. Now that's all find and dandy, but why fade Weaver? Well, Weaver is coming off an outing where he threw 128 pitches. Sure it might not affect him as much as some other pitcher, but even a small impact is enough against the 'Bombers'. Bottom line is that Yankees have the superior hitting and a better BP than Angels. LA has the better pitcher on the mound, but the factors I've listed above narrow that 'gap' significantly. Yanks have won 4 in a row and I like them a lot at this price.
Hope this helps. Let me know if you got any other thoughts and/or questions
