Mornin fellas comin off a big win yesterday with the Cards money line. This was the first game I took action on in years after taking a major break from sports betting. Here is the link to that thread https://www.covers.com/postingforum/POST01/showmessage.aspx?spt=27&sub=101318813&page=2

Today two games jump out to me one that I will be betting and one that I won't be.  The two games are TAMPA BAY @ detroit and LA @ home vs pitt. 

I see a lot of value betting Tampa at almost +170 this afternoon and I expect that line to move a bit more (to help us). Verlander is an ABSOLUTE BEAST and it is hard to bet against him but TB is off to a strong start and have Shields on the mound tonight. It is very early in the season and anything could happen. This is a great spot to be in for all you long term betters in a groove out there. Although I expect Detroit to win this game more than they lose TB only has to win 37% for us to show a longterm profit here and the public is all over Detroit. With this being said I WILL NOT BE BETTING THIS GAME TODAY. The main reason I won't be taking TB on this is because momentum to me right now is extremely crucial as I am just starting to bet again. I expect Detroit to win here much more often than they lose, and although I see longterm value I'm more interested in getting off to the right start and putting a few wins together. There is no telling how important momentum is for us to have in sports betting especially early in the season of MLB play one of the streakiest sports out there. 

The pick I will be on tonight is LA vs pitt at -135 with Billingsley on the mound. LA got off to a 4-1 start which they are looking to build on. Chad also pitched a great game in The Dodgers 6-0 win vs San Diego a few days ago and they are at home. I'll happily take this line tonight in a spot where I'm looking to put up a W and gain some crucial momentum. I can't see this line getting any better for LA get this in early.

Stayed clear of the detroit game, hoping nats hold on against mets . Feeling good about LA tonight, Go big blue!

Very impressed with your Rays pick. They screwed my parlay- wish I would have followed you on that. Going with the hot streak and risking 2k on LAD. I am on some NBA action tonight early, so depending how that goes, I may tail your Vancouver pick as well.

got burned large too by the rays... was absolutely painful to watch verlander crumble like that... he is human though... good luck on your dodgers play

Thanks even though I didn't bet I still felt good about the pick and mid year that woulda been money in my pocket. I don't regret my decision and have more and more confidence about our LA pick every minute closer to game time. LETS GO DODGERS

We should have faded Vancouver. Nice win on Dodgers- really lightened the blow from the terrible day I had.

One of the fangraphs writers said no decent pitchers today also but said he likes Hochevar tomorrow.
