There just seems to be more on the line for the Brewers than Arizona. The Brewers are in a sensitive time frame where they are trying to figure out whether they are buyers or sellers before the trade deadline. They want to be buyers. They feel they are buyers but because of the recent slump, are in a state of flux. Well, if yesterday is any indicator of what is to come, the Brewers should be where the money goes. Zach Davies is having a decent season and should put in his normal good performance against Arizona. Look for Adrian Houser to be called upon out of the pen to hold this game. Hader was used yesterday and probably won't be used today. Houser was pulled from the starting rotation and put back in the pen because he's had success in the pen. Possibly Jackson will be used to actually collect the save if Houser pitched 2 or more innings. The left handed bats of the Brewers will give Merrill Kelly plenty of problems. Arizona is at home, but they're coming back from Texas where their game started after the Brewers finished yesterday, so I see no advantage going to the Dbacks for home field today.
