Jered Weaver isnt a household name but the dude is currently 3-0-1 and holds quality wins against the Royals, the Rangers and the surging White Sox.
Not to nitpick, but Jered Weaver most definitely IS a household name. He is only one of the more celebrated pitchers to play for the LA Angels in franchise history. I honestly do *not* still know how is is so effective now. Crafty, crafty, and crafty is his middle name.

For me, Houston -1.5 +115 for a package!!!! I would use a $$$$ but too many don't play those.
I am all over Houston Astros RL tonight! One of the few times I will jump on a home team RL, but this match up looks juicy. Houston is DUE to have a slobber knocker type offensive effort. I see several home runs being hit by the home team. I also bet regular line just in case. If Keuchel is somehow off today, then oh well. No regrets.

I foresee game 3 being a lot more like game 1 than game 2. As you note, Capitals will play more aggressive the rest of the way, as that seems the best chance to move on in this series. Pitt goalie is good but can get rattled I think. Caps goalie is good but Pitt offense can score 3-4 any given night.

Best of luck whether you fade or follow.
I already locked in the Pitt/Was over 5 today.

Props to nfl_brosuf for acknowledging the Cueto going back home to pitch @ Reds angle. I'm kicking myself for not realizing that in time! Sucks, by the time I read this thread the game had already started. 3-0 Giants already. D'oh for me!
Not to mention they do a good job hitting vs LHP. Nice pick whether it wins or loses.

That OKC/Spurs game 2 worries me a bit in backing Spurs giving up 8 points. Regular season saw OKC play rather well vs San Antonio. OKC easily won both games at home, and at San Antonio they lost the first game by 6 and the 2nd game in overtime.
Goes without saying that playoffs are not regular season though. I doubt Spurs will replicate that game 1 shooting effort again this series. I have a feeling they will cover that 8 points late but OKC could have a decent shot at the back door cover.
One thing that interests me is that coach Pop had Leonard guarding Westbrook instead of Durant. It worked very well for Spurs as Westbrook shot horribly. The regular season games though, Westbrook feasted on San Antonio. It will be up to OKC to adjust to this defensive twist.
I have San Antonio in a teaser with Cleveland, so I just need both teams to win by at least 3 points. Good luck to all of us!

Ugh, still think we had the right play but Keuchel was horrible tonight. No command with his pitches, he was all over the place. Unfortunate we put money on him in probably his worst home start of the past 2 years.

I did not see Keuchel pitch, just the (horrible) results. Was it him being a gas can that could not throw a strike, or was it a result of the umpire squeezing him? Noticed both Keuchel and Minny pitcher both had a lot of walks. It sucks, had an oversized bet on the lame behind Astros.
I was thinking to myself why is my luck so bad today...and then it hit me. Today is a MONDAY! Freaking MONDAY! This will be the 2nd straight Monday where I put on a few over sized bets and am getting the crap kicked out of me as a result. No more, I give up.
That NHL Washington over 5 should have hit...except it is a MONDAY. Capitals had 49 (yes 49!) shots on goal today and yet could barely get 2 goals for the game. Crazy. Props to the Penguins young goalie, but man, I saw so many close calls that almost were goals.
So of course I committed the cardinal sin and chased my losses a bit by putting more money on Colorado Rockies. Goes without saying Kemp just punched me in the face in the 1st inning ha ha. Oy vey.

and watch out, because it is a MONDAY we have poor little OKC who everyone wrote off as finished leading the almighty Spurs on the road for the majority of this game.

=== This game is on MONDAY 9th MAY 1:00 PM EST ===
$$$$ Örebro - Hammarby OVER 2.5 GOALS -125 $$$$
Yeah this is really early. But I think this price might not be available closer to kickoff. Things have been said aboutt these two teams earlier. I will provide a writeup later but this is a really good play. Try and get it at -135 or better.
I might have something for the weekend as well, but this one I want to get in on early.
