Celtics tonight!

Lebron should have a huge game but everyone else will fall flat.

This is Lebron's last night in a Cavs uniform.

I have a bit of money on the under .. maybe a bit too much

carpenter is a proven stud , but still the cards really can't score right now ... -308 , what's the use , you don't get anything out of it

something interesting : in his last 3 starts Norris has a 2.2 WHIP , 10 ERA , but all 3 games have gone under and overall the under is 1-5 with him as a starter this year

Hmmm..... This seems to be a bet on the OVER.

The Cards are going to blow them out.

7-1 or 8-1 will be close to the final.

What does that have to do with what I posted? I read my post again and don't see anything about making any reference to the Cardinals recent performance.

I feel the line is high and I don't really care one way or another how/why the oddsmakers came to their decision nor do I care if you think the line is right.

I only care that the oddsmakers made a decision that I can compare to what I feel it should be. Your opinion means less then 0 to my decision to bet or not bet this (or any other) game.

I was simply making a statement to everyone as to why the line is high. The line is high because, like you said, everyone is looking at the fact that Norris sucks.

No need to get all pissy and say that my opinion means nothing to you! I can care less if you take advice from anyone. But sports gambling is all about information, and maybe someone will read that and find a little something as to what and why oddmakers set the lines.

omg.. the line is so high because of carp and the fact.. if the stros win the cards get swept at home by a below 500 team.. wont happen. its high chalk but its free money at this point. and im not a fan of lock games at all.. anything can happen. i js dont see the unimaginable happening today in this lopsided affair.

A couple weeks ago, little different situation, the Yanks were up 2-0 in a 3 games series but had CC on the mound.... Everyone was hitting and they were playing Baltimore.... not all negative EV bets (like this one) are bad plays.

i had houston yesterday...along with sandiego and cleveland....you got to know the right days to play the dogs which is hard to do....i think houston has a chance today just like all the other teams do whether they are dogs or not...i have a small wager on houstonn today...but not enough of a wager to lose what i won on them yesterday...bol

you're right... I would say they are sweating it out pretty good right now... it is far from over I wouldn't want to have my money on that right now for certain... nothing is definite maybe this will be a wake-up call!

bud norris becomes chuck norris when he faces the cards...-300 vs a pitcher who hasnot allowed a run to them in 18 innings with 17 ks ...-300 is disgusting in this matchup...you would have to be a fool to take the cards today..GL

Yeah I was the fool who took STL as well.

I also bet that the world would continue on tomorrow morning, so sorry guys but today's the last day of our existence.  Sucks.  It was -30000000000000 so I put my soul on it.

it happens to all of us... I have seattle who were crusing to a 5-1 lead going to bottom 8th and just gave up 5 now down 6-5. How does a manger let a team give up 5 unreal

Wow bro...You make this sound like Houston is a little league team.  I think the line is so high here because this is one of those games where it is a coin flip, but the books know everyone is going to pound the cards because "They can't get swept at home by a team with a losing record..."  If this game holds up the way it is going so far, the books are going to be making large deposits tomorrow, and people are going to calling for fixes and stuff like that.
