LET'S GET SOME YANKEE BACKERS!!
Ran the numbers from last year on teams losing by more than 14 points straight up and their records ATS the following week. It was promising until I ran into Indy (which due to extreme circumstances would have most likely stayed away), the Jags and Clev. Take those teams out and most cover by Game B, with a few Game Cs if you stopped the chase in mid-December to give yourself a cushion. Things get fishy those last weeks with bad teams.
I also read somewhere about fading teams the week after they play the Thursday night game. Smaller sample since this is the 1st year there is a Thursday night game every week I believe. Will keep messing around in my spare time to see if I can come up with anything tied to that.
Good luck to all and thanks for all of the information posted on here. Its great to finally have a some methods to go with madness.

@Newfie,
Play on any team that failed to cover the spread by 25 points or more in its last game (74-49-3, 60.2% ATS)
Seattle unfortunately will be going against this trend

Unfortunately for SF they are going against the +7.5 set number trend 14-2, 87.5 % ATS) this season on football. Gotta get the hook though.
