College World Series Thread...

Well all reports on who was pitching for TCU was incorrect. Its Kam Brown. Hasn't exactly had the most success as of late. Hasn't pitched in 2 weeks. I guess we will see how this turns out. Wish I could find a website that clearly and 100% accurately reports the starting lineups and pitchers. On TCU whether I like it or not. Lets go Horned Frogs.

Edit: Gonna need some faith today that the stream was on to something. Reports on starting pitcher for TCU horribly wrong. TCU goes down 1-2-3 with 2ks. OR on it early (albeit very early). Gotta hope Brown is up to task.

Ackenhausen will get the start for LSU

Thank you for the info. So a bullpen game for LSU. Ackenhausen hasn't even pitched 4 full innings yet any game this year. But he is a lefty and that is good for LSU.

Okay bottom of 4 and it’s now officially a bullpen game. Guess we will see how this finishes.

The wheels are falling off for OR. Good for my side bet. Bad for my under. Lets see how this finishes out.

I googled the highlight. I will say he called it right away which is good and he was having some happy feet when set prior to his windup but I don't know if I would have called that a balk.

They said the pitcher didn’t tell anyone (Ump/TCU) if he was going wind up or stretch. So a balk got called right away. 

Had nothing to do with what the pitcher did as he mimicked that same wind up going forward. Really odd to me that you have to announce that though.

That is really odd. I played some college baseball (not their level or higher by any means) but my point is baseball has been a part of my life for a long time and never heard of that rule. I am not sure if that is a tournament specific rule but kind defeats the purpose of a slide step when in the stretch. If you have to announce you are going from the windup you might as well tell the base runners to just steal.

I agree, never heard of that rule in my life. I just don’t see the point of telling the other team or ump. Makes no sense…

TCU -140 pending to win $300 and under 12.5 pending to win $200. Gonna add $600 to win $500 on LSU -120. Either gonna be up $1.1k today or down $100. BOL to all.

Eagerly waiting for LSU to finally have a big inning. Sadly if they don't they could fall victim to a repeat of yesterday.

Ironically the TOR/MIA under and OAK/CLE under is looking good but the over 11 not so much. Need LSU to win more than anything else.

Well 3-0 heading to the bottom of the 8th. LSU hasn't exactly torn the cover off the ball this game either. Gotten lucky to get out of a few jams. Hopefully they can record 6 more outs without incident. My over is dead. Just hoping LSU wins today. If they do I am up $1k on the day. If they don't then I am down $200. Lets go LSU.
