This is the only smart comment in this thread. I played Kershaw at -140 and I was shocked that I got such a good price. I also played Wainwright at -142 and could not believe the price there as well. Lines around -140 are basically a run or less, so you could have laid a run and got + odds with two of the best #1's in the NL. These were no brainer plays. Playing the dogs with the plus odds was for the gamblers....not the lovers of cash.

Why would anyone even back a playoff egg laying franchise like the Braves?

Braves has no chance to win this series against the Dodgers.

Regular season the Braves are a better team on paper but  they did not face Kershaw .

Dodgers will take Game 1.

Fair enough, but you never would have came in here if they were losing.  Whatever, it's one bet.  I backed them for the reasons I stated in my first post.  Your statement means you will never back them in any postseason game, which is senseless.

Maybe, but they never seem to have that winning aura about them in the postseason.
