 RL means by more than 1.5 runs

 He bet the RL (Run Line) at -1.5 runs

So the Reds have to win by 2 in order to win the bet.  That is why the odds are better than the ML (Moneyline) where the Reds just have to win by anything.

Close to 30% of MLB games are 1 run differentials, so that is why the standard RL is -1.5 or +1.5

Good Luck Reds RL is due after Rockies RL cashed yesterday.

But you shouldn't really worry about that, because it is the easiest play of the day.  So just bet confidently and come back and thank the computer person on the message board later on when you are counting all your money.

Personally, I am betting enough to purchase a small island on the Reds.  I mean Votto is back.....how do they not win by 2 touchdowns?  Go Reds.

Be careful with that. The Rockies' horrendous pitching is easily bad enough to make SHMACK a winner with the Reds minus -1.5 and -2.5.
