This is the third version of (The Chase). The first 2 were right here in the MLB forum. U can look those up if u want.

Chase #1 (52-1) (+$1120)

Here we go with (The Power Totals Chase)

5 game chase only

All plays are my Top Power Totals

Each individual Chase is to win $50

A loss will cost me roughly (-$2000).

We can discuss things as we move along.

Chase 1

A) Texas Over 8.5

I'm not going to list the juice but it will be included in the wagers always. So to calculate my wager, ill have to factor in my juice. The plays will run (A) thru (E). 

This will include all sports but the first one will be a baseball play. I have no idea how long this runs, it may lose on Chase #1 or it might go to Chase #500.

My first goal is to get to (40-0). Thats the point it should become a freeroll.

This should be slow paced as bets will come just one at a time. So any questions, fire away.

If u plan to follow, make your (A) bet small enough so that u can make your (E) bet without over extending yourself. That's why I'm playing each Chase to win just ($50).

Let me know if u are and remember u need to calculate your maximum risk and make sure u can handle it before u start. Mine is around 2K and I don't want to lose it but it wouldn't effect me any at all. Also with each win that maximum risk gets reduced by $50.

I'll use this thread as my office until (The Power Totals Chase) takes a loss. 

Remember The Chase is great, until its not.

I love the one at a time format and the slower pace this offers. I don't like rushing at anything these days. 

This chase will be my first to exclusively feature my Top Power Totals only. I have very high expectations for this, so I hope it doesn't end too quickly.

My set of goals for (The Power Totals Chase)

1. Get to (40-0) This will make this essentially a freroll for me. 

2. Get to (53-0) This will eclipse Chase #1

3. Make it to January 1

4. Make it to Opening Day 2024

5. Never lose 5 Top Power Totals in a row. 

If you've never done this, u can start small and join in. 

My Power Totals model has this game tonight at (10) runs. So either they are off or I am.

As most of u know. I'm mostly retired, so I want to maximize FUN. Now don't get me wrong, I want to win but man I want to enjoy myself.

I've built the Power Totals model and I want to see what it will do in this format. I'll be using the best of what it has. 

I want to be transparent about something also. On the (A), (B,) and (C) wagers, ill be adding to most of the wagers, probably not the (D) and (E) plays. They will be big enough.

I've got one other thing that the small player can do and be able to join in the fun and I'm going to use this also. I'll explain this in a little while.

As I said I want this to be fun. I'm going to allocate just $200 as a side project of this. I'll be playing to win $5 on the first Chase and adding 10 cents for each additional Chase, giving all this to my 2 grandkids as just some side money. But believe me if we make it a few months without losing, this could turn into a lot.

So if u have $200 to risk and want to join my grandkids in this, u can join tonight.

I have a big erase board that I'm going to display in my home office with their count on it. 

And as I said, I'm looking to have fun and make money.

If we make it to Opening Day 2024, i will be around (200-0) and (+$10,000). 

One rule in here. The Top Power Totals better not lose 5 in a row. As long as this doesn't happen, we are alive.

The other 2 Chases went a combined (74-1) (+$2260)  and what I'm trying to do here is much more.

Looking forward to this. I'm going to keep my grandkids updated with the erase board displayed in my office.

I'm playing all the Power Totals very small, and I'll do the Chases also small (but a little more than the Power Totals).  I know how much I'm willing to lose, but I'm hopeful and will be happy to profit $300 off it!  Thx for all you do!

 No problem and I'm running out of steam with the high volume. Yesterday about got me and I won't go down that road with college hoops. That would be insane.

I'm more of a low volume guy and I love the slow pace of (The Chase). I don't rush doing anything these days and I mean nothing. U should see how slow I drive now (ha ha).

Soon I will be just hanging out in here. Thats enough for me.

Yep, I love college hoops, but there is absolutely no way to cap them all.  (I know you don't cap..I meant me)  I just try to find lines that are a bit off in my mind anyway, and work with those.  It's hugely time consuming, so not sure how much I delve into them myself.  I usually wait to even start betting it until they've played several games, so I can gather more stats.  Looking forward to seeing how your totals come out in the hoops though!

Monday October 23

Chase 2

A) Texas Over 9

Remember each individual Chase is to win ($50) and all are a 5 game Chase. 

This play was made at my main online book, Draftkings. I also had a profit boost to use, so I had little juice. They were actually running Over 9 (-118) and most all other books have it 9.5 (+100) or around that.

My model has this one at (10.65) runs, so its a no brainer for me. 

It was very nice to get Chase #1 under our belt. Lets move right along.

For Chase 2, they are going for ($5.10). I know that sounds silly but if we keep this going for a long time that will grow quickly. They are going to get a kick looking at the erase board with their running total.

I am also wagering pretty big on the side for these as they are the best of what I have.

Also remember that this is not a (One play per day) Chase. Its a (One play at a time) Chase. I'm assuming tomorrow there will be multiple plays and Saturdays may have 3 or 4.

I've heard alot of Under talk tonight but my model is solidly backing that Over 9.

Just some rambling this morning. Not doing much today. Going to cut my grass, hopefully one last time this year, got to get my daily 15,000 steps in. I've got about 9 more houses to spray this month but not doing any of them today, we have over a week left in the month. 

I had 4 games to look at today and I was hoping the Philly game would have been a play but it just didn't make it. So here is what my Power Totals model had for Monday.

Phillies (8.55) MLB 

Texas (10.65) MLB 

Minnesota (46) NFL 

Buffalo (6.16) NHL 

For baseball I use a (1) run difference for a play. For the NFL I use (3pts) so that over 43 is a go. U guys can check the CFB forum, I'm running 100 Power Totals in there. For the NHL, I am using (0.75) of a goal and surprisingly my NHL has started (15-8) this season. 

Tomorrow the nba joins the party.

Looks like my model and the books may be on the same side tonight.

They opened with a (9.5) and the sharps slammed them on the Under. Now everyone is piling on the Under, all the late arrivals. 

The books and us will need the Over tonight. 

My Power Totals model has the true number on this one at (10.5). The books couldn't go that high but they tried, they opened (9.5). Classic battle setting up here on this one and surprisingly we are with the books or so it seems

Texas Over is my big play, trust me much more than $50.

This thread however is just about the Chase.

But if u want me to say it. I've got $100 on the Over 43 in the NFL game but that has nothing to do with the Chase.

U need to get my PM and ask me those things. I want to keep this thread about The Power Totals Chase.

 I know u know about my CFB forum thread. For the next 33 plays that I post over there, ill still be playing all those for $100, just as I have the first 67 plays.

I don't know about what I'm going to do with those when I get to play #100. The volume is very high and I don't think I'm going to continue with it. Saturdays are killers and I do not enjoy that but ill stick with it for 33 more plays.

But I want to do something special with this thread. Its the best of what I have. 

If I came off condescending, sorry about that, ask me whatever u want.

I know the Power Totals model is going to be good, I need to know how good.
