 Yes but maybe u should just flat bet these. 

Plays (D) and (E) will get to some people if u don't set up your bet amounts correctly.

I'm playing (The Chase) in here but I know a loss is going to cost me 2 grand but I'm ok with it. I don't want it to happen but ill accept the risk.

 I will add one more thing. What I'm probably going to do is continue to bet $100 on all the Power Totals as long as it stays at or above 55%. Anything under that just isn't worth my time but ill continue as long as it hits that minimum. Then I'll bet more on the Top Plays, those are the ones that ill use in (The Chase).

For anyone following this. The next play will be released as soon as the current pending play goes final. And tomorrow there should be two plays. Thats if the timing goes ok. 

I have almost everything for tomorrow already. Opening night in the nba but a monster night in the NHL. U guys see what they are doing in the NHL tomorrow night. 

And of course we could have to deal with a possible game 7 in Philly. 

I have a strong NHL play lining up for tomorrow night and this should be our next play.

I suppose I'm a bottom up bettor and that is probably the most rare.

Do most of u just follow the games and the teams and read a few opinions, study up on things and give it your best shot. Is your wager, just your opinion on what u think will happen.

when it comes to betting totals, I don't have mathematical background to create logarithms etc.. 

over the last 3 decades I've tried the intense time consuming studying.. I found it didn't improve my success as teams/players do NOT always play as they're "supposed to".. off nights.. turnovers kill (in fball esp)..

So, many yrs bk I started following this site and 1 more (madjacksports) and trying to determine which posters were consistent and not just throwing out phony figures, wagers etc.. 

I've narrowed it down to a handful on each site that I search for and record.. Then I look closer at the games they're focusing on, and see if I see what they see.. I use my own EYE test..

when certain guys line up on the same side, it wins more than it loses..

totals are a diff animal than picking sides.. maybe the "math program" will work for you over time. 

I wish you luck!  I think your 4gm chase has the best chance, but it takes deep pockets to go to a gm 4 on multiple plays..

But changing gears and I'm not going to track it here.

Since I'm playing The Top Power Totals in this (one at a time format) there is absolutely no reason for me not to do a version of the 1000 play challenge.

So I'm going to do that with these plays also. 

I'm trying to maximize my use of this Mathematical Total.

I'm a bottom up bettor because I've built something that generates a total. I then compare that total to the books total to see if we have a play. 

Here is the 1000 play challenge 

1. Texas Over 8.5 (winner)

2. Texas Over 9 (pending)

As I said I'm not going to update this on each play but I'm going to be playing it also. I will update it from time to time. Maybe after every 10 plays.

If someone knows how the 1000 play challenge works and what it is and wants to keep up with it and play it. Then u post it and track it play by play or track it in here but feel free to start a thread and play it.

Remember its one play at a time, it goes 60% Winners over 1000 plays u will be rich beyond your wildest dreams.

 Neither. Its something that I got from Steve Fezzik, if u know who that is.

Its simply, start with a $1000 bankroll.

Play one bet at a time, against a (-110) line

U go (600-400) in any order and your a billionaire. Yes a billionaire.

U wager by risking 10% of your bankroll on each play. U adjust after each bet, so its impossible to go broke. 

MIT ran simulations to prove this.

Grant it, its only in theory that u could fully do this because u could not get down the bet amounts that u would get up to but boy wouldn't that be a nice problem to have.

This isn't my thing. I've just always wanted to try it. I got this from Fezzik. Google him if u new guys don't know who Steve Fezzik is.

If someone ever claims they can hit Winners at a high rate, against a (-110) line. U tell them to play the 1000 play challenge and their wildest dreams will come true if they can only hit 60% Winners. 

Any way, I'm playing my Top Power Totals, one at a time, so I might as well give it a go, while I'm using the format.

Looking real sharp early on.

Not sure how to define myself.  I didn't know there was such a thing.  I research the hell out of stuff, and consider myself a handicapper and a guesser.  MLB being the most consuming for me b/c you have to wait so long for ump assignments and bullpens and pitchers, weather, etc.   I enjoy it though. I'm not great at it, and only post my plays for myself.  So, I guess label me how you want.

 I'm familiar with Steve... I just didn't know what it was called.  Totally forgot about it...  Thanks!  I know after the years, I'm not good enough to hit at 60% consistently.  I'm happy to be 54% or even 53%..I make sure to play quite a bit of dogs....  Just my preference...

A Top Down Bettor is a screen watcher. Example, if Pinnacle is running +4.5 on a dog and u can get +6 at a slower moving book, u grab the +6. No questions asked. Guys like Spanky and Captain Jack are Top Down Bettors as are most pros.

A Bottoms Up Bettor is someone like me. I create a line (total) and dammit we see who has the better number. 

Everything else is a guess (opinion).

I was brought into this biz in the mid 80s by some unscrupulous older gentlemen. Most of these guys are gone. I miss them.

But today I'm just relaxed and focused on my Power Totals model. Perhaps this thread will be my greatest work, u just never know. 

I vehemently disagree with u about this being 50/50. In no way do I believe that. Do u think it was 50/50 that this game would go Over 9. I can assure u that it wasn't.

 I wouldn't be trying to handicap these games if I totally believed it was 50/50.  I always try to find the edge.  That's what this is about...  anyway... didn't mean to spark the discussion.  I guess your comment about the top down bettor and bottom up or guesser, just got me a bit rialed up.  No worries.
