I getting way to old for
5 day work weeks,I will send you a pm when I get a chance,I am going to be
signing up for SS and you will get a kick out of this story, gotta love our

I did manage to catch most
of your playoff wins, nice going when Houston wins the Series your going to end
up getting about half your season back,GL on future and get a few more wins out
of My Astros.

As for SS, that is a piece
of cake if you get the right agent. I did it all in about 20 minutes and got
maximum benefits, and all questions answered. If you don't get a really helpful
agent, hang up and call back until you do.
Beware of roofers,
carpet layers and used car salesmen. they have a cabal that is dangerous for
the average citizen, and we all know you are average at best (sorry). Even
after signing your invincible contract keep a gun handy when actually dealing
with them or when your wife and daughters are home and they show up to work.
Glad you got in on some
winners, but hang around, there are more coming. The hedge bet on the Nationals
may not be gutsy, but it was the wise and prudent thing to do. 37% guaranteed
profit in 9 days or less computes to at least 1,509% annually, GUARANTEED,
unless of course my bookie tells me to set up an appointment with Vinny or
Guido to get paid.

BTW JEG: Speaking of a 5 day week being too much, I remember Mike Royko writing a column in the Chicago Tribune years ago about a feather-bedder city employee complaining (in a bar, of course) to a buddy of his, "This new supervisor of mine says he expects an honest 8 hours. Shoot, I haven't worked an 8 hour week in years!"
Mike Royko was a great columnist, and he wasn't afraid to poke fun at the Chicago establishment, even back when Richard J. Dailey was mayor and everything was graft and influence connected.

Washington has great starting pitching but they rank next to last (29th) in the majors statswise in relief pitching...If they ever need to depend on their bullpen in this series it will be a dark time for them IMO. Relief ERA is 5.98...hmmm 27 wins and 33 losses...not good against the Astros' lineup...

I will grant you that, but their bullpen was much better down the stretch and they are getting deep into games with their starters. Another one of those things I guess we will have to watch to find out. You can't ever know everything, or even all you would like to, but your point is well stated.

Yes I think My Astros will win but in sports you still have to win the games and your era for Wash. if you just take the bullpen after the all start game I would bet you get a better #,Key is the stat guy and if I am wrong he will let me know, but they were a much better team second half of year and made short work of the Dodgers who most thought would make another trip to the Autumn Classic, you do know they lost the last couple ones I am sure,so I still say Wash.has a shot and winning a couple hundred is a good choice esp.since you can still bet the games and win more or lose, that is gambling.

I have a world series futures on Nats 500/11500. I already got paid for picking right teams (had both Astros and yankees vs Nats, plus a few Dodgers variations).
I SHOULD hedge this with money on Astros, but the line is so bad, almost not worth it. The 500 has been a sunk cost since May or June, what would you all do?
Cheers

Astros will probably win this series...I would hedge to win at least $1000-$1500 so you come away with some sort of a profit...

Hey Key since we know that Wash.has decent pitching and are going to be big underdogs any thoughts on a couple 5 inning plays on them? The first game Houston,my team, lol,is -200 with no pitchers even listed on covers,I do have Cole and Max on my site with +160 for 5 innings on Scherzer against a Pitcher that has given up 7 runs in his last 9 games. Then his bad game 10 games ago where he gave up 4 runs I believe and 6 runs total Houston scored 8 runs for him, lol.
So Max for 5 at +160,easy money, lol.or do Cole on R/L at -120 or so.
