The only thing that sucks is that the game will be blacked out on MLBTV.com and I'll get the crappy Philly game. Too bad I can't bring my 3 month old to the bar (just kidding)||an_shake.gif' border=0>

I always despised that showboating unprofessional "professional athlete" and I let it be known here a few times. I'm not surprised to hear all the commotion now about this guy.
Enough is enough. I will not take away from what he has accomplished. He is very talented and special in that sense but I don't and can never respect him as a human being.
He is very immature and is a disgrace to a team. I would not want him on the Blue Jays squad even. This is the one team about the Yankees that I really admire especially during the Torre era. No facial hair allowed even. I mean they treated the whole game of baseball like a business transaction everyday that the team did not want to lose.

Was that last post of yours a reply to something in different thread?
Maybe Patriotsfinished thread titled: Trade Manny Ramirez immediately. Or maybe some post was deleted?
p.s.
What a comeback for CWS yesterday. Need every little bit they can reach back for this road trip.

GL Bobby, Pettitt has been strong and a bit of dissarray on Redsox. Revenge factor keeping me from pulling trigger against Wake as he has pretty much sucked each time I've bet on him so... if I bet against him, well he'll kick ass. Again GL Bobby...

tlc, I hear where you're coming from. Like Scotty said, don't overthink it, more often than not, it works out in one's favour that way.
Revenge factor only works when the team is focused which I highly doubt is the case with Boston. We'll see but like I said, I didn't overthink this one. The pressure is on the Red Sox and I the Yankees are in a good frame of mind right now. GL to you.

Another great tout. ||moneybag.gif' border=0>
Question: Got to love the American League East. Too bad my team, the O's, will go under .500 again this year and finish in last place. (I'm a hometown hater,because i'm bitter) What place will the Jays finish in? IYO do you recommend staying away from the home teams? Sides and totals?

Hey glennszy! ||an_cheers.gif' border=0>
WB, thanks and congrats to us! To answer your question, I think if you follow your home team, you should do so with the intention of simply being an observer, it can get really dangerous when you "fall in-love" with your own team. As for simply betting on the home teams, nobody can answer that question ever. It depends on so many factors. Instead of looking at handicapping that way, the way I do it is I try to figure out which teams have intrinsic values ie expectations, core talent and then i look at their current form and their schedule and how their innings have been played out. Before everything I mentioned, you have to listen to yourself (intuition) when you're looking at the entire card. Certain games stand out, then look at the numbers and let your intuition guide you. For me, totals have come by harder this season but for you, it could be different. GL
Thanks Onfire! Bosox were trying to start trouble again today, hitting two batters in the game. Cousins would have none of it. Lose the game and take it out on the ones that did their jobs. Real classy ||sleep2.gif' border=0> That's just classic Red Sox attitude. Bully the good teams. I really enjoyed watching this game this afternoon as I've had enough seeing thug wannabes put on their jerseys and pretend to be professionals. I wished Pedroia and Varitek would get traded so I can totally care less about that team. I think apart from those guys, everyone in there brings their own drama in the game.

Great call again bobby d. But I think you may be looking past some of bostons class guys
ellsbury, lowell, youkilis, drew, beckett, delcarmine, shilling, wakefield, just to name a few. I could go on but i'm sure you get the picture. Yes we have a couple of bad apples makeing the team look bad but Boston is a class orginization with a lot of class guys.
Just my Biased opion, Again, good call today on your play||Peace_5.gif' border=0>

not to mention Jaba did a little head hunting of his own last night and in my opion should have been ejected for throwing at the HEAD of Youklis.Not to mention the umpireing last night was definatly a low light with a lot of blown calls.

You bring up the umpiring perspective which definitely went Boston's way today believe or not...or at least Wakefield's way. Giambi got at least 2 phantom strikes, not even close. It wasn't that Wakefield was a knuckleballer and the ball moved a lot but rather what you mentioned happened the day before. Definitely, compensation was the order of the day for these umpires. Rather disgusting. Cousins was definitely not giving it to Pettitte either which forced him to be more tight around the corners...umpires are definitely consistently inconsistent.
I agree with Jaba completely. I'm afraid he's headed down the prima donna path and definitely reminds me of Roger Clemens with his swagger.
I can agree with the rest of the names you mentioned. I will even give Lowell a pass for blowing up on the umpire which is rather disrespectful because he usually keeps himself in check and Youk fighting with Manny in the dugout and causing distraction but I don't see myself every agreeing with Beckett being a class guy. He is one of the most concieted, bratty attitude-carrying pitchers in the majors. He has always carried that rotten attitude from his Marlins days.
