Few observations:
  • Rangers are 11-1 in Harrisons last 12 starts as a favorite.
  • Rangers are 5-1 in Harrisons last 6 road starts vs. a team with a winning record.
  • Rangers are 4-0 in Harrisons last 4 road starts.
  • Rangers are 4-0 in Harrisons last 4 road starts with the total set at 7.0-8.5.
  • Rangers are 6-0 in Harrisons last 6 starts as a favorite of -151 to -200.
  • Rangers are 6-0 in Harrisons last 6 starts vs. American League West.
  • Rangers on the hottest team in baseball
  • Rangers are a predicted 68% Accuscore winner
  • ANGELS scrap Weaver for a rookie that is 0-2 with an ERA of 8 - ERA of 8 and now facing the best lineup in all of MLB
Texas is 11-7 vs. LAA this year (3-0) past 3, and LAA has admittedly shut the season down.

Motivation:
  • Get to play at home for ALDS vs. Sox/Rays against teams they have dominated this season at home.
  • Most wins EVER in a season for the team (1999 was best with 95 wins)

Few comments JDR

1) The Det game is only in the 3rd inning, there would be a lot of baseball played in the Ranger game before the final there.
2) There is nothing "meaningless" in pro sports IMO - They (like myself) hate to loose, and play to win, ALWAYS

But why would they throw the game? They need the win to get homefield advantage, no?

They're a game up on Detroit. I just don't know who gets homefield and the Rays/Sox if they end with identical records.

Det has the tie breaker and they have just won their game so if Texas wins they play TB/Sox at home but if they lose they goto NY

Well...of course sweating this fucker out!! Tied 1-1 Top 9th!! Can't believe TX bats are dead tonight. Not expecting 10 runs but...1 run on 4 hits through 8 innings is a JOKE for this magnitude of a game against a SCRUB!!!!! Hope they can find the bats and get this one for us......not liking extras in Anaheim if it goes. Angels seem to ALWAYS win extra inning games at home with the last at bat.
