I feel bad for the Diamondbacks - Baseball Integrity

Diamondbacks need Mets to win game 2 to make the playoffs. No chance!!!   Braves throwing Chris Sale on the mound. No way Mets throwing Severino. They are saving him for the playoffs. Also, Mets lineup will consists of backups and scrubs. Don't see anyway the Mets win game 2. Baseball integrity is in question here.  The line is reflecting this as the Braves ML is a whooping -450 or so.   Again, no integrity whatsoever.  Disgusting.  Popovich and the Spurs got fined for resting their healthy starters a while back.   I believe the NBA fine teams for "resting" their healthy starters. 

The Diamondbacks shouldn’t be in this position. They have to point the finger at themselves. In the final two weeks, they lost 2 of 3 to the Rockies. 2 of 3 at home to the Giants. Blew an 8-0 lead to the Brewers. Lost the first two games over the weekend to a team who had already clinched a wildcard and was eliminated from the division crown (Padres).

The DBacks should be blaming the Giants for going to the desert and giving them a whooping last week.

The Giants had nothing to play for.

Anybody watching this game can see the Mets aren't trying to score at all. They could play 30 innings in this Game 2 and the Mets will be at a goose egg. This was a bad idea. 

It's so obvious the Mets were trying to lose.  I hope both these teams get swept in the post season.

Arizona own fault ,1 game in particular I remember Arizona was winning 6-0 in 1st inning and gave the game away 

The Answerbacks have A LOT to answer for with the way they played down the stretch.  They had several opportunities to wrap up a playoff spot but failed to take care of their own business.

Too many seem to want things handed to them these days instead of going out, working hard, and actually earning it themselves!

Arizona can now enjoy the offseason by grabbing their golf clubs while teams like Detroit are still playing due to the momentum they showed at the end of the regular season.

Maybe they should have won one more game out if the 162 games they play a year. 

They still get paid millions of dollars and now get to go to Cancun. 

This is a prime example of guys being paid to much to care every single game and people saying oh well its a 162 game season and then a team finding themselves either 1 game out or needing help to get in.  Dbags are where they wanted to and that's on vacation
