Anything else on the radar tonight, MrB?
Red Sox over the Phillies. Make no mistake, I don't think much of the Red Sox, but I think even less of the Phillies. Home teams that have won exactly 5 in a row are good investments even though you usually have to lay a big price. Well tonight, you don't have to lay any price and you don't have to bet on David Price. Sweet! I'm in. I'm also in on the Red Sox -1.5 +175 because 14 of the last 15 Phillies' listless road losses have been by more than one run.
Giants over the Cubs. I'm not sure a return to the friendly confines will be enough to cure what ails these Flubs. The Giants are 8-2 in road series openers since the beginning of June. They've romped in those 8 wins by a combined count of 74-22! That's 9.25 to 2.75!
D-Backs runline over the Rockies. If you're a sports bettor who hasn't been auto-fading Kyle Freeland when he starts on the road, why not? The Rockies have lost 7 of his last 8 road starts, the only win coming in extra innings in Boston courtesy of a classic 2019 Red Sox huge chalk gag job. All 7 road losses have been by more than one run. The entire Rockies team has been highly fadeable since just before the All-Star break. They were swept in Arizona to conclude the first half of the season. They are 4-16 in their last 20 road games and 14 of those 16 have been by more than one run. The D-Backs' Alex Young has struggled in his last two starts, but who do you wanna trust to get his act together first? Alex Young, or this guy...

To recap, that's 5 home runs allowed in a dozen home starts. It doesn't help that his name is "Homer", I agree.
Almost spill out my bbq chicken n thai fried rice giggling

I can understand and also empathize with those out there in the sports betting universe who are afflicted with Homer Bailey PTSD. I'm here to counsel those troubled souls by reporting to you that since that ghastly night at Minute Maid Park one month ago, Mr. Bailey has allowed just one longball in 24.1 innings. Furthermore, he has allowed none in his three home starts for the A's. In his nine home starts for the Royals this season, he served up only 5 home runs in 49.2 innings. To recap, that's 5 home runs allowed in a dozen home starts. It doesn't help that his name is "Homer", I agree.

You are right on. Khris Davis doesn't have a clue right now. That swing and miss for strike three in the bottom of the 6th screamed "I don't have a clue right now!"

I like Oakland a lot tomorrow, almost too much. Fiers at home vs Happ who’s been borderline awful this season....the topper is Oakland destroys lefties
