Any reasons for the big drop?
Seattle has the 3rd most home wins this year in the AL after CWS and Houston (Rays and Red Sox right behind the Mariners), so they do play well at home. Add to that it's PacNW time for East Coast teams. Toronto had a great 9-2 homestead at the end of July and now they're on the road playing their 6th game in 5 days (DH on 8/10). They also played a DH at home on 8/7 vs. Boston.
Ryu's been averaging 5 innings and 15-20 pitches/inning his last 6 weeks and he threw 99 pitches in 7 innings on 8/3 @home, then 5 days later @home (last Sunday) the Red Sox blew him up for 7 runs/7 earned on 10 hits in 3.2 innings (76 pitches). He could just be tired, and now he's heading to the PacNW to pitch at 10pm (his body clock).
The ML opened last night around -164 and this morning it dropped 15-20 cents, and it's been a steady decline all day to where it is now.
Kikuchi has pitched really well his last 2 starts (both away) winning both and only giving up 1 ER, but he threw 92 and 97 pitches in 6 and then 5 innings (last Sunday). No new injuries to speak of. The line will adjust - or be adjusted - for real time circumstances. That's not saying who's right or wrong but the trend is favoring Seattle. I'm not saying Seattle should be the play...so I'm not looking to get hammered by the knuckleheads on here who just love to do that. They don't post, of course, but they sure do have large opinions around the 3rd-4th inning if they see the poster might be wrong in his opinion, and if the poster's pick actually loses, well LMAO, they all let us know how smart they are and how stupid we are.
So once again, I have no pick and no opinion...just relating what's there to see if you look. Doesn't mean jack...unless it does.
Cheers

@DB51daBEARS
You always have an opinion so don’t act like that ... second the jays have now been on the road for 5 games ? Body clock really isn’t an issue at this point. GL

So take the Jays, Holy. You don't need the Covers Forum's blessing. 6 games in 5 days and starting games at what is 10pm for Jays' players...duh.
LMAO...that's what's wrong with this forum...and if you look-see my # of posts and the 2016 sign up date, you'll recognize (maybe put your glasses on) that I just made it outta "rookie" status...so NO actually, I don't always have an opinion...and the reason I don't is because of the schmucks that wanna argue with me AFTER they ask my opinion. Capice?

Hey dikkkkkkhead...My point is it's ICEMAN's post...and he was asking about the line movement.
You didn't wanna reply to that...maybe not so capable of such...so you decide to pick a fight with me about the Jays' players body clocks????
Talk about a douche...capice?

Got better things to do with my time (and my relatively few posts in 5 years) than to wait to roll around in the dirt with a schmuck.

All YOUSE paisans, It's CAPISCE LOL . I've been on this site maybe 13 years hardly ever comment but loved this thread LOL . Been my experience that if I like a play but then have second thoughts when the number changes as much as this one did I lay off. I've lost much through the years when I have not done so.
