$238 Padres -112, Davies/Strahm
There are reasons to doubt both Davies and Strahm today, as in Davies had a string of 9 consecutive quality starts awhile back, but only 1 in his last 5 and the Brewers have been terrible on the West Coast. Strahm has had two clunkers in a row, versus a red hot Marlins team on their shocking West Coast trip and at Colorado last weekend in the “92 runs in 4 days” fiasco. It is easier though to forgive Strahm, as he faces THE WORST LEFTY HITTING TEAM IN MLB (4 consecutive losses this trip), and faces them at home on the West Coast, where they (the Brewers) have not played well at all. The Brewers head home after this one, and I would not be surprised if their heads have already left town.
