A Rod can't be worse than him

I for one do feel that the Yanks are wrong in this

Go down with him b/c no matter what the other players are watching and sensing and taking notes on it

Accountability is important but Embarrassing a Player is Worse

The only issue with your theory and statement is that Cano-Swisher-Granderson-Chavez-Martin-

ALL OF THEM ARE STRUGGLING.

Can't single out ONE guy as the BIGGEST issue.

Cano has had his chances. BUT gets ZERO ZERO ZERO blame

Huge Yankee fan here.  I don't feel he should be embarrassed. Nobody else is performing. Arod hasn't been the same player for a couple years now. Not just the playoffs. He's not been my fav Yankee and he can rub people the wrong way but he hasn't really done anything wrong over the years . He's been a good guy and puts in the effort. Whole lineup has been awful

Yosemitesam don't bash swisher. Guy is great to be around. All the asshole pro athletes who don't give a shit about fans, swisher is the opposite of Thst. Farthest thing from a piece of shit. I'm frustrated by his performance but he could hit .000 and I'd still want him there

No, money doesn't guarantee production but comes with justified expectation. Star players and highest paid players are expected to perform.

Yankees signed these guys a few years ago. Not this past year. They won a world series with them.

Yep, the yankees have become an old team, and I think you're going to see more and more slumps and injuries with a team whose average age has to be in the thirties.

They can buy the best, but they're signing them to multi-year deals and not finding many diamonds in the rough in new young players.

Time for a new strategy IMHO.

No disrespect, but they were signed for years. I just don't see how winning A World Series would excempt them from criticism for the duration of their contracts.

I am not an A-ROD fan, but at 37, and the Yank Org. got sucked in on his contract......he is not to blame for that.
