The Angels offense struggles at times, but if you look at their roster its pretty darn good, no reason to think they can't score 4-5 off bartolo at least.  Yanks O is phenomenal, I expect them to go full bore today in this one.  Weaver's ERA last 3 is 6.5, Bartola is near 5.  That is not impressive.  In his last 5 outings Weaver has had three where he has given up 6, 7, and 8 ER respectively.  He faces a tough task tonight against a hitting lineup that is one of tops in baseball.

like I always say, who knows....could be a 1-0 game, but I like my chances here.

I liked the over at initial glance, two reasons I'll likely avoid it

1) Millone is new material for the Astros, teams generally, in my view, struggle with new pitchers the first time they see them

2) Astros lineup is capable on any night of being completely shut out.  Next to the Indians they have one of the leats intimidating offenses in baseball.

I think Washington can score here though

you ever play organized baseball?  They have some of the best offensive playesrs in the game (proven players), they are not going to score 10 every day.  They play 162 games.  I played at a high level.  I've played in games where I've seen teams rip teh piss out of the ball every time up and not score because of where the ball landed and I've watched teams score 4-5 runs in games where they hit nubbers and duck farts.  Soem days you don't score, even against scrap pitchers.  They may not score today, who knows.  I do know if I was in teh bump I'd be scared shitless facing a team that has a 180 lb skinny ass CF that has almost 40 bombs batting 2-hole....

I'm not a big fan of posting unless I'm in the right mood as I know as unfortunate as it is some people blind tail. No one should ever do that. If I'm not in right mood or super confident in a play I just pass that day.
