Call me a homer, but stats don't lie.  Even though Hanson has medicore to poor history vs the Phils and has had a few bad outings lately, 1-1 9.20 era 1.77 whip .400 obp, I find it hard  to back the Bravos, but absolutely impossible to back the Phillies (Under might be the best bet here).  In these last 8 atrociously brutal Phillies games, they are 2-6 and have been shutout 5 times.  5 TIMES OUT OF L8, are you kidding me? 

Here's the telling stat though, in their combined 84 at bats in those games, the Philllies Power 3, Utley, Howard and Werth are a whopping 11 for 84, that's good enough for a .131 BA, with 25 K's versus 9 BB's, and 2 RBI.  It does look like Werth is sitting out today and Victorino is hitting in the 5 hole, but wow they have been something dreadful to watch, eh?

And if the marlins outfielder doesn't make that error, Halladay might have gone 9 inninngs perfect and had to be pulled for extra innings, that would have been sad.  Or conversely he could have had a perfect game through 10, guess we'll never know.

And to the observation  from others that the Rockies bats are warming  up, look were the played their last six and the Giants bullpen  is susceptible without Affedt.

Yea...I think she's going to stick to the camera booth on the sidelines from now on. But Kay could have been more comical instead of acting like a real puss during it.

I really hate these caps. They were nice 2 years ago when all the teams wore all blue caps with their logo in american colors, but the last 2 years have been some bad looking caps. The Red ones last season and now these white/blue.

It's a real shame that it's all about marketing trying to make money off what should be a nice little thing for the veterans. They'll be changing the colors every year and put them back on the market so they can sell more. It's just a real shame imo.
