Spect,
There are multiple ways you can go about this. Of course it depends on the line of each game, but lets just use +150 as an example. so in a 4 game series at all games being +150 here is what I came up with. If your "unit" is $10, your goal is to profit $10 on each series.
Example 1: Starting Balance $100
Game 1 Bet: $6.67 to win $10 - if win balance $110, if lose -
Game 2 Bet $11.11 to win $16.67 (game 1 loss + 1 unit) - if win balance $110, if lose
Game 3 Bet $18.52 to win $27.78 (game 1 loss + game 2 loss + 1 unit) - if win balance $110, if lose and this is final game of series total loss would be $36.30, if a game 4
Game 4 Bet $30.87 to win $46.30 (game 1 loss + game 2 loss + game 3 loss + 1 unit), if win balance $110, if lose, total loss $67.17
That is one way to minimize losses on a sweep, but you are winning a flat rate each series you win.
The other way, which I think most people probably do is:
Starting balance 200
Game 1 Bet $10 to win 15, if win balance 215, if lose (190)
Game 2 Bet 20 to win 30, if win balance 220, if lose (170)
Game 3 Bet 40 to win 60, if win balance 230, if lose (130)
(in this case some people will only bet 30 to win 45 as that would still result in a 15 profit)
Game 4 Bet 80 to win 120, if win balance $250, if lose (50)
(again, in this case, some will bet 40 to win 60, because if you lose 10, 20, 30, this would break you even for the series)
as you see in the second case, it is actually more profitable to win a later game in the series, but a lot less stress winning the first one haha
however all this is based on a flat line of +150 which is almost never going to be the case, just easier to explain it that way
