Kid was great at Arizona State. He keeps hitters off balance with 5 pitches (fastball, curve, cutter, slider and change). He can hit up to 94mph but is better when throwing 88-92 with better run and sink. He has a deceptive change and his curve and slider are distinct and work well off each other and he's an excellent fielder (player a lot of SS and 3B). With an average fastball though, he leaves little margin for error and I think he is being rushed along here as he was initially expected to start the season at Single A.

Meanwhile, I think Gorzelanny is flying well under the radar and think he is way better than people think.

I generally don't like totals early on however I do have under 7 SF/ATL today just because of the line. I do not have faith in pitchers early on and tend to play dogs as the lines are made according to the pitchers' overall reputation and last 1-2 years performance. Playing 1H totals demonstrates a confidence in either way for both pitchers.

JMHO

Either way great job, GL and stay healthy.

Bob Horner was my favorite player for my favorite team, growing up as a kid in Buffalo, NY

I was so close to taking the Astros and it will kill me if they win. LOL

I expect Zimmerman to be out of today's lineup for the Nats and I just don't think it's a good spot.
