My apologies to anyone who stayed on the Titanic yesterday and
sunk. I understand that for sometime yesterday, people couldn't open threads so
maybe it's good news that people at least missed my first two plays. It couldn't
get any worse than yesterday. Even a 4-2 lead with two outs and nobody on in the
9th innings wasn't safe even when it looked over on a routine ground ball to
short for the final out of the game that went through Valbuena's legs and
eventually led to an Aaron Lind homer to make it 5-4.
No excuses. it was an absolute disaster. Today is only the 2nd
day all season I've been in the negative. I've been down a lot more than this
and comeback with stellar seasons and mind May through mid July has typically
been the time I ge thot, so hopefully things will turn around
immediately.
I know no apologies are necessary, but I still apologize for
yesterday!
A lot of solid avoid the sweep angles today. That alone is not
a sole reason to play the game, but I see strong factors in many of those games
today, that have me playing those sides.
I like the card today. Let's see how I do. Thanks for the
supportive comments from many. I am stepping away from my computer for the
afternoon and am confident things will get back on track quickly so please don't be offended if I do not answer questions today.
Bill Buckner is a perfect name to honor today. He had one
terrible day in his career, but was an outstanding player throughout his entire
career.
Best of luck to everyone.

Sometimes you get the bear......and sometimes the bear gets you. I am liking the card today. Just think of last night as clearing out your losers for an upcoming HOT streak......

so let me get this straight you are down 5.25 units??? what $ amount is a unit for you?
It's 5.25% of the bankroll I am willing to risk over the 6 month season (not what I have on deposit or have as credit at any given time as I can reload and I know what I am willing to risk over a 6 month period). The amounts I play per unit is irrelevant.
Taking the rest of the afternoon off at Covers.

Well Game, great to see you stayed detached from the some of the (I don't know why they bother) comments in yesterday's thread, and stay focused on your selections. It's always bewildering to me why some people view your selections as a mandate that they 'must blindly tail'... it really never ceases to amaze me (and you I'm sure). As I'm sure with many, we view the selections with some value, but more importantly stay tuned for any comments or perspective as to 'why you select the games you do" or of other aspects of the game itself.
Even I would have thought these haters would eventually just give up and go away.... but I'll be damned.. for some reason they don't.
Anyway, love the Cubs and Dodgers tonight but am on the other side of BAL though going with Minny on the RL...their bats are strong of late and with 1 loss in their last 6 think they'll continue along tonight strong and beat up on Bergesen ...

You were on Cleveland yesterday and should have won. Fausto and Morrow were both throwing smoke, Morrow hitting 100 and consistently in the high 90s. Keep an eye on those Jays GH, they aren't always fadematerial man. Being in T.O. get a lot of info on the prospects... Rounding into form earlier than expected with strong performances from Gonzalez and Wells... Overbay will be offloaded (to make room for Wallace) soon and the offence has solid upside... Goes completely without saying their starting pitching could rival any in the years ahead but we are already seeing rapid progress from Romero, Cecil etc... Paul Beeston (really) back in charge... Looking good bro... plenty of nice tags ahead this year.
