I dont know if i'll have any plays today but after reading the boards before the Braves/Nats game last night...people are still the same and rarely will they find value in an underdog. I probably shouldn't be surprised.
Today's AL games...just some quick thoughts below. Most favorites will be grossly overpriced on Opening Day.
Verlander with no bullpen lays -195.
I can get Roy Halladay +146? WOW
The O's will be awful this year but TB is a team who shouldn't be favored on the road until they prove worthy. I love Shields but he never goes 9 (high K pitcher) and Guthrie is pretty good.
I like the Twins as dogs in the dome. Always will gravitate to that sort of play. I don't love Weaver and Livan can get you to Neshek/Nathan.
No interest in seattle/texas
If you're going to play any of the 1:00 dogs...I would suggest waiting until after noon eastern as hoops/football bettors run to the window playing ML parlays and RL's on the Tigers and Yanks.

I am kind of worried that Halladay is getting that good of a price. I agree on the Rays, which is why I'm on the other side. I would think that the Tigers and especially Seattle are overpriced as well.

yanks are probably 15-20 cents overpriced in almost every game except when they play boston

Really Koaj, nothing at all in the NL. I would stay away from the Marlins today Cincy. I think Johan will show them why he is worth all of that money today.

I'm just not sure what you will get out of Hendrickson today. He is just very inconsistent and back to being a starter now. Just not sure if he can outpitch Santana today. Good luck though and I will be rooting for you.

As far as you AL thoughts go, I agree with the feeling regarding Jays, Rangers, Royals and I played em all. I also layed the relatively small price with the Angels.
Any thoughts on Sox/Indians? Ugly looking line and it's tough to make a legitimate argument for the Sox, so it looks like a stay away game.

I really like the under in that Sox-Indians game. I think Sabathia and Buehrle will both pitch well today. If I had to bet the side it would be sox or nothing.

CC 14-3 lifetime v CWS
konerko hits him well and has had a very good spring

I agree with your initial post and as you saw from my PB post, I know dogs are the way to go. One of these days I will listen.
The Jays at that price seem like Louisville on Saturday.
I'm hoping the Tigers put enough runs on the board that their pen doesn't become an issue. However, no Granderson and Meche has pretty solid #'s against Tigers. Verlander's are spectacular against KC.
I will be on KC most of the time when they are dogs at home, not much when on the road.
GL today, hope you cash the Blue Jay ticket.
