That fucking KC game won't get higher than +195....I've been semi-watching it for the last twenty minutes...

Guys -- Ben Sheets has a 3-9 lifetime record in April, and Prince Fielder may still be getting over the flu after being sent home on Saturday.  What's not to like about the Cubbies to smash the Brew Crew and Sheets on the Z Train with only -140 juice at home????

To put this into perspective, Johan Santana averaged 6.63 IP/Start and Jake Peavy averaged 6.56 IP/Start.
 
This ranked him 3rd in baseball behind only Roy Halladay and C.C. Sabathia as far as IP/Start.  He does not walk guys so he has no problem going 7 IP, and the backend of the Rays pen is servicable.  It's that mid portion that is hideous.   He went at least 6 IP in every start from April 1st - June 15th last year.  I'm not sure if I will be on the Rays or not, but he is definitely a horse.

he should have been 12-0 to start the season last year but was 6-0 b/c of blown leads. i probably took him every time he was a dog last year...very big fan but i got sick of that pen real quick

i can definitely relate koaj, I was on him weekly and had to deal with that nonsense as well.   I think the acquisition of Wheeler should help, but that pen is still VERY shaky and joins the current tiger pen as the worst in the AL, perhaps in all of baseball.  SF may have something to say about that

Love the Jays, Koaj it is futile to get people to see the value, they simply have to learn for themselves that you don't get ahead playing heavy favorites unless your hitting over 75-80%. Laying -160 you go 3-2 and your down, so to see true worthwhile profits you have to be nearly flawless. I also believe compiling a list of undervalued pitchers is helpfull. Last year Shields, Guthrie, Morales, Marcum, Gallardo and others were on that list at one point or another. GL and have a profitable season

bopelini - never played the 5 inn line before. check with MrOPC on that

jake - i still like the games but i like my lines a little better obviously. you should get matchbook if you dont have it. best baseball lines bar none

gcn - very frustrating. the bullpen or lack of is a main focus of mine when deciding which dogs to play. amazing how few people actually study it

You will once again have a profitable season on the diamond... Some people will just never figure out how to have a CHANCE to beat the books....I wrote up a thread if you have a chance check it out... Real quick on your league the AL

Kansas city  is a no brainer

Halladay is a no brainer and might be worth and extra unit or unit and a half... Flat betting the entire season is probably a better option...

Is +125 enough to take the O's?  I would need more..

Buehrle sucks against cleveland... Cleveland owns the sox... Why so cheap -164... I know you experimented with -1 run lines, is this up your alley? Just a thought..

Texas/Seattle- This is not a spot to back seattle

La/ Minesota - In my thread someone asked me why I couldn't do this as a hobby... This game is exactly why.. Last night I saw the Twins +140 now they are only +125... As you know long term this will kill you over numerous wagers... +130 would be the bare mimimum for me to play the twins...

Agree with you on the O's here, although they may not be the right side there's no reason they should be catching that number at home to the Rays...especially with that TB bullpen.
 
Sorta like Toronto as well but will lay off, I actually think Sabathia and CLE are overpriced and I'm giving CWS hard consideration...don't like MIN at all as I think the Halos pound them.
