I’m with you on the Twins and under. I parlayed the Twins -110 with under 8.5 -105, but the bulk of my bet is on the Twins -1.5 +185.

l bet on the Twins and Joe Ryan in their home opener against the Astros when he struck out the side to begin the game and then the Twins quickly scored twice against Hunter Brown. But the 1st inning rally ended with a double play grounder and it was all downhill from there. Ryan returned to the mound and immediately surrendered home runs to the first two batters. The Twins fell behind 4-2 in the top of the 4th and seemed to quit right then and there. They didn’t get a hit the rest of the game.

Joe Ryan then went out in his next start and spun a beautiful 7 shutout innings, allowing only 2 hits.

So it’s plain to see that the Twins and Joe Ryan OWE me, and I demand they deliver a fairly low scoring yet decisive victory tonight.

I love finding sporadic Bator musings and plays in random posts. You don't hear from him in months then it's like...oh there he is in hidden in TexasMissile's 40+ plays. 

Wussy Joe Ryan needed 82 pitches to record his first 12 outs. His performance has been tough to watch. Every 0-2 pitch he throws is guaranteed to be nowhere near the strike zone. His most recent one to Luis Torrens was bounced to the backstop.

Meanwhile the Twins failed to make solid contact against Clay Holmes their first time through the order. 

Joe Ryan lasted only 5 innings and threw 101 pitches. He gave up only one run, but l don’t expect the Twins to score tonight unless they first fall further behind.

Walk and HBP and wild pitch and another walk to begin the bottom of the 5th. Clay Holmes was in complete command but he’s lost it.

Minimal damage inflicted by the punchless Twins after they were gifted the bases loaded with nobody out via Clay Holmes’ wildness

Pathetic.

They will never have the lead.
