I have definitely not looked on Covers as much as of late. Has turned into a total troll fest and most of the great cappers are long gone, left unprotected by the refs. The site needs something to juice it up. I loved when they did a contest a couple of years ago with Teddy going against one of the other cappers giving out free winners almost daily. They, though have just screwed the whole thing up.
This is a good write up today by Teddy and I think it has merit.
1* Take Texas (#920)
The betting markets want no part of Bartolo Colon against the potent Red Sox lineup. At 44 years old, without much of a strikeout pitch, Colon is routinely disregarded by the wiseguys. Due to his flyball ways and his lack of strikeouts, Colon’s FIP is more than a full run higher than his ERA. No surprise, then, that he’s been an underdog in every previous start this season.
Colon is coming off a quality start at Toronto, cashing as a +155 underdog. He had a perfect game through seven innings against the potent Astros lineup. The Rangers lineup behind him is clicking right now, coming off an 11 run outburst last night; pounding out 47 runs while going 5-3 in their last eight ballgames. It’s surely worth noting that four of those five wins came at an underdog price of +140 or higher, and the fifth came in pick ‘em priced game – right now, this Texas team is showing real signs of profitability. And it’s surely worth noting that the Rangers bullpen is rested and ready tonight after a rough series in Cleveland to open the week.
The Red Sox are on the other end of the ‘value’ spectrum since their 17-2 start; just 5-7 in their last dozen contests. Six of the seven losses have come as chalk; five have come at -150 or higher, including last night’s ugly blowout. Boston starter Rick Porcello is coming off a grueling 116 pitch effort against the Rays last Sunday. Current Rangers have hit him hard, to the tune of a .291 batting average against. He was hit hard in both meetings against Texas last year and the Red Sox bullpen behind him has fallen out of the Top Ten in ERA, showing some vulnerability of late. ‘Live dog’ here! Take the Rangers.

I think the Rockets have to bounce back tonight against the Jazz, who are woefully undermanned.
Also, Pelicans are going to get some whistles after terrible bias in the Bay against the W's, I am looking at a first half bet there.
Good Luck on your plays- tailed them all
I will be in Vegas on Monday but I think you said you live elsewhere?

Crash- I cashed on the Rangers yesterday, but I think Porcello is off to a better start than Teddy is giving him credit for. 116 with 4 days off is no big deal for a vet, but a 6-0 quality start record is impressive. Thanx, but I think I will pass.
