5/30 Flat $200.00

First 5 Innings, White Sox -.5, +118 RL, Quintana/Harvey

The last thing in the world a wise bettor wants to get involved with these days is the WS bullpen. They are shattered, at least mentally if not physically, by the pounding the Royals laid on them the last 3 days. That should not effect this pick though as Quintana should dominate the Mets lineup and Harvey is performing like a very poor imitation of what the world thinks he is.

Twins -103, Santana/Graveman

Santana is undervalued, often, and is not a popular figure with bettors, but he is 6-2 in the quality start department and his teammates are on a roll with the sticks. Nothing against Graveman, nothing against him, but he is a slightly less than average starter that just fills a 4 or 5 slot in a rotation. I think the Twins continue to roll.

Royals -106, Andriese/Kennedy

The Royals have retaken the division. They sit on top where they feel they belong, and have the most confident clubhouse in the major leagues. No Gordon? No Moustakas? No Perez? NO PROBLEM. There isn’t a better team atmosphere possible. Everyone knows what he can contribute and does it. Whitfield, Cuthbert and Butera know they are quality players and can carry their share of the load. Andriese is a quality guy but only 2-2 for quality starts and he faces Kennedy, who is 6-2 in both h2h wins and quality starts. Don’t stand in the way of a locomotive with a head of steam built up!
