YTD 286-253 (+136.7 units) 5-5, -1.4 units POD 56-33 (+82.1 units) POW 9-4 (+81.8 units) POM 2-2 (+ 20.3 units)
Day Card:
Marlins - RL - POW - 20 units ... I have thought about this play long and hard and how aces like Halladay and Jimmenez, two cy young canidates, have gone down hard this week and of course i bet them all....but what the differences in the ace on the hill today. Halladay and Jimmenez have shown signs of weakness in the last month and they both were on the road against teams who have shown signs of hitting the ball well. JJ is at home where he does his best pitching, he has been stellar the last three months.....1 ER in JUly (3 starts) so far, 5 ER in June (5 starts), and 6 ER in May ( 6 starts)....this a true CY young canidate...not to say Jimmenez is far off from this....Colorado is also suffering from the injury bug...they are not the same hitting club that their potential is up to...I was going to say that with only Gonzalez and no Helton or Tulo, the Rockies are not as strong....now with Gonzalez listed as possibly being out today...the Rockies seem like a candidate to get shut out today..... DeRosa - sports his 6+ ERA in 6 starts....obvious mismatch on the mound today.....he is a career 5.23 pitcher and faces a big challenge with the Marlins bats coming alive in this series....in two road starts he has given up 10 runs...bet the Ace today....streak ends today! Braves - 2.3 units ML .... edge Hudson, braves hot Cards - 2.2 units ML .... edge team, AW

these seem to be the consensus plays today on covers and I'm on all of 'em as well. BOL JJ
I would also like to add that the home team favorites have been on a tear in these series....I see that happening again today, i had leans on the tigers and reds as well....most confident is the Marlins because the opposing hitting and pitching is the weakest...

PM'd you that thing I was talking about. Its very long and a lengthy read but it gives you an idea of whats been going on in the organization.
Kinda bittersweet after reading it. A little disappointing and depressing but atleast it shows that it organization is finally moving in the right direction even though they are well behind the curve.

What up JJ? Hey man I'm right with ya over the last week. I cashed with the book two weeks ago for 20 units, went up almost 10 units and then gave it all back on Fri/Sat. Needless to say a little gun shy myself.
Well anyway keep it going, we will turn it around. I'm on the Over in the Min/Bal game, Under Tex/Laa, and Over Bos/Sea.
GL to all
BIG PHIL

I am border line ready to call it quits for the season...buried my bankroll this week.....
Please don't. This week has been brutal but I expect it to be better going forward (hopefully). You are pretty good in capping games and the string of bad beats will end soon.
