I know we are all discussing our Yankee/O's bets right now but thought we could get discussion going on this intriguing matchup
Pitching matchup:
Phillies: Cliff Lee -130 Reds: Bronson Arroyo +110
-------------------------------------------------
Lee (1.08 ERA) coming off great wins @ ATL(there only loss of season!) and at home to Mets Cincy lineup batting .255 off Lee
Arroyo (5.25 ERA) coming off loss @STL where he pitched well, retiring every batter he saw for 5 straight innings until he then gave up 4 runs in 6th and 1 run later in the game. his first game pitched was a home win to the Angels against chubby Joe Blanton. Phils offense batting .250 off Arroyo.
Concerns/Notes:
Reds: lost 5 straight, bullpen hasn't been very good, but we wont have to see broxton tmrw., Philips back from funeral he attended and should play.Chapman only pitched part of an inning today (why? not sure) and should be avail monday.
Phillies: offense has been beyond anemic most of the season and at times
struggles to muster up hits off seemingly mediocre pitchers, decent chance arroyo looks decent against this phils lineup IMO.
Wind blowing in 10 mph, temp around 70 degrees
First gut instinct: Reds at great price at home, better offensive ability, can usually count on for runs. Phils won't hit Arroyo very well.Lee will be Lee but still make some mistakes to give up 2-3 runs and bullpen probably gives up another 1-2.
Thoughts and additions?

its about time lee gets it rolling. my money will be on the phillies
What do you mean "about time" exactly. He was spectacular in both his starts so far, he can really only go downhill from here. Somehow i doubt we are going to see a stat line on him like 7 IP 1 ER 7 K's on the road against the Reds
