This "error' thing is really starting to pizz me off. Second day an outfielder stands still watching the play until the ball is overthrown. This time it allows Bonafacio to score instead of the play being backed up properly and holding him to second or third.
Calm down Key,
You know that these things even themselves out over the year. There will be a games where the error helps you instead of hurts you.
Not that this has anything to do with the game, but have you ever noticed that when it is windy, all the loose boxes and trash seem to congregate in your yard, and not your neighbor's.

The error doesn't appear to matter, the schlubbie's are pouring it on in the 4th....
It did to me. This is how my luck runs. I had Pirates ML (1st 5) in one parlay. I had Cubs and U3.5 in another parlay. So the error and wild pitch resulted in an over for me and a loss in both parlays (pending an incredible 5th inning by the Pirates). Oh well, maybe the Cubs will win the World Series this year. lol

Listening to this game on the phone and it is hard to listen to such little league. Nothing anyone can do about that. I am either gonna tag your late play if anything tonight as I don't really see much and don't have proper time to dig. Better luck....

The Indians were magic versus lefty starters last year going
36-20, 64%, for the best categorical win percentage of any team. This year they may
do the same but are off to a pathetic start at 0-1-2 in the 5 inning game and having scored just 1
earned run in 19 innings versus Kazmir, Stults and Erlin. You have to figure
they played two games yesterday and saddled up for the trip to Chicago. Energy and focus could be lacking
versus a team and pitcher they dominated last year. The ChiSox are clipping
right handed starters for an offensive era of 4.57 based on 21 earned runs in 41.33
innings and have compiled a 3-3-1 record while not getting shut out at all.
Very rarely do I venture a pick without the superior starting pitcher, but I
think this one warrants it.

Sorry for cluttering your thread Key. Still working on my spreadsheet. MAN..it's a lot of work keeping up with 5 inning stats for every game! There has got to be a business opportunity here! LOL

Good stuff, Key. I have been mulling over the Sox all day. Could be tough to be 100% focused after the double header yesterday. Might join you on that one. GL

Not that this has anything to do with the game, but have you ever noticed that when it is windy, all the loose boxes and trash seem to congregate in your yard, and not your neighbor's.
Yeah, and his grass is greener too, or is it all a matter of perspective?

The approach is fine but I will say the weakest part of the Cubs is their bullpen and perhaps the F5 isn't as good of a play against them. Key may disagree but that's how I see it.
