The streak has ended with a push and a loss. NBFD, and those
that don’t understand it don’t understand gambling in general, and specifically
gambling on baseball. No apologies, just so those that think I should won’t be
back. Too ignorant for most of us anyway.
Moving right along here, I like a top gun type pitcher
coming in after his team was embarrassed. Time is short, so I better get it
posted.
At least one more play later, probably two, so check again
in an hour or so.

BOL Key. I think Pittsburgh's numbers against lefties so far this year keeps me away from this one but I'll be rooting for you.
I see a lot of this on the board, not just here, but as usual, Key has done his homework. The Pirates have not yet seen a leftystarter this year, so the available numbers are from relievers in specialty situations and are not truly indicative of their potential. Last year the Pirates were 18-13 overall versus lefty starters and finished the season on a 13-7 run, including a win over Wood.

Thanks for this
With two young kids at home and a demanding job I just don't have the time for the usual due diligence, so I appreciate it when someone else can do it properly BOL

GL today, yeh yesterday was one of those how many bad breaks can you get in a game day, good thing is those even out over the year.
Yeah, Garza did not have a sterling day, but the defense burnt us more than that. Garza threw wild to second with a double play ball, Gennett flung one into left field on another double play ball, and on Gennetts throw the left fielder was standing still watching the play instead of backing up the shortstop. Thanks to a home town (Phillie) scorer the Brewers were charged with only one error for the whole game, but it could have easily been three or four.

This "error' thing is really starting to pizz me off. Second day an outfielder stands still watching the play until the ball is overthrown. This time it allows Bonafacio to score instead of the play being backed up properly and holding him to second or third.

Can't blame you for playing the Pirates but their lineup is simply too reliant on hitting homers to be successful. It's just not good enough to produce runs consistently.
