Yesterday: I know we have all heard of the “Day From Hell” or something similar, and that is what I had yesterday and when I almost sprained my ankle getting out of bed I should have gotten right back in and cancelled the day, it only went downhill from there. So; no work, no fun, no play. The gory details you don’t need. I am back on track this morning and will return with some write ups later, but I don’t have the time right now and think the lines are about as good as they are going to get.

Diamondbacks: Play to -132. Chase Anderson is “best in show” right now for the Dbax and Kendrick continues to be the failure I predicted last winter. There is no reason to stop fading him until the public catches up or the Rockies remove him from the rotation. Considering the park and the fact the Rockies get to play there a lot, the Dbax offense also would seem to be on a par with them, but the Anderson (9-4) quality start advantage over Kendrick (5-9) is where the money lies. 94 cents worth of value on the hill is not to be ignored.
Mariners: Play to -143. I could kick myself (hard) for not playing the BoSox Sunday as the Royals took their 6th straight defeat at the hands of a lefty. Almost inexcusable when you realize I called it Friday night when they took #5. Montgomery over Guthrie alone justifies playing the Mariners but the Royals 1.18 offensive era versus lefties last 6 is a sweet bonus.

I realize you may be new here so I will point out there is never a home boy bias or fan bias in anything I do. My only bias is toward my bankroll and it is numero uno, period. In the immortal words of W.C. Fields "I can honestly say I have overcome all my prejudices, I hate everyone equally."
