$428 Indians
-111, Anderson (4-2) / Brooks (0-0)
Leans: 5-1 YTD, Cubs, Mariners
Indians: Play to -134: The last time we heard from Aaron Brooks he was still
trying to imitate a major league pitcher. He has not been very successful but
apparently nobody figured he would be, finally landing with the Royals as a ninth
round pick back in 2011. His one and only major league start earned him a 55.3
rating in my program so I don’t think we have a “late bloomer” to fear. Face
it, he is just filling a hole for the A’s and we may never hear from him again.
I have not yet looked
at the abuse and rebuttals in yesterday’s thread but that thread has gotten
ridiculously long, so I will go see if there is anything worthy of a response.
Otherwise this is my only play of the day and I will see you tomorrow.

You have a lot of high praise for my Indians rotation. They can shut anyone down 1-5 it seems. Any chance you see this team make a sneaky run the last 60 games?

They seem to have the liveliest arms out there. Kluber, Carrasco, Salazar, Bauer are all daily fantasy studs (at times). Anderson is the only guy who doesn't have a high ceiling and he's pitching tonite. I'll pass.

I do not think the Tribe makes a run, but I do think they did the right thing by not blowing it up and trying again over the winter. It would take very little to fix the offense and that can done on a low budget. As long as they retain control over the pitching they will be close to success.
I do not agree with Getty3 regarding Anderson, but I do respect his opinion. The thing tonight is he does not face stellar competition. The boys know when Beane has packed it in and Brooks is just confirmation of that. This is not a "bring the kid up to replace Kazmir" move. Because the Indian players can see the pitching staff being retained, every one wants a shot at his own job next year, and that is something worth playing for.

The way Cody Anderson is pitching currently, Aaron Brooks can match. Mlb is about now and present and presently I don't see how you think the Indians have a huge pitching ad. Anderson has been hammered last two outings. Anyways GL KE. I would strongly reccomend over
A twilight game in a pitcher's park, with a pitcher's umpire and 2 offenses that stink. The old adage about "good pitching beats good hitting" also applies as far as "bad pitching beats bad hitting". I have no dog in the fight and won't follow your lead, but BOL
