How come there was not a defensive replacement for Cruz? It is
obvious defense is not his strong suit.

Should have been. But does anyone know if it was usual for him to be removed in the 9th for a defensive replacement?

Washington might not have felt he had enough players left to burn a player on a defensive switch at that point.

He did slow up, but what about his groin injury? I wish Ron Wash would have put in a defensive replacement for him. That game still hurts me and I'm not even a Rangers fan.

Hard to use an injury as an excuse when he starts game 7,if you are on the field then you are healthy enough to play and are suppose to make the plays that you normally should make. He played the ball like a box,he either misjudged the ball a bit or was afraid of the wall.

i dont watch a lot of rangers games but i dont think he is replaced very often. the guy isnt very good at getting to the ball quickly, but when he does he has a cannon. 

but i agree watching that play he should have made the catch, and i reallly wish he did since i wanted the rangers to win
