I doubt maddon trust the bullpen besides Chavez - he pitch 2 inning yesterday - hamels been there best pitcher -

Again....this strike zone is pathetic. As a hitter and a pitcher it would drive me nuts. As this game stays close.....more and more will jump on the cubs. Rockies need an insurance run very soon.

actually this year - it's more he pitches well as the game progresses until he gets roughed up in his final inning, whenever that inning is... and occasionally (although more prevalent the past two months), that brutal final inning never comes...

Lets see if he bats for himself, 86 pitches... doubtful?

When this season is over Cubs should seriously consider a new hitting coach. Outside of Happ every single hitter has been swinging out of their shoes on the first pitch. No patience at all.

Bud Black isn't too bright. You don't go challenging a play when your guy quickly runs off the diamond because he knows he's out.
